Futures Prop Firm Rule Radar
Every night Rule Radar archives the help center of every futures prop firm on the price list and shows exactly what changed: which page, which line, dated, before and after. Payout terms, consistency rules, drawdown math, activation fees: firms rewrite these without an announcement, and this is where you catch it. Updated pages open to the exact wording that changed, every article keeps a full version history you can compare, and a plain-English line on each row says what happened. Nothing here is written by the firms. It is their own help center, read every day and kept. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

1 mini = 10 micros.
Both options share the same risk logic. Option 1 uses the trailing drawdown. Option 2 uses the end-of-day drawdown together with a daily loss limit and has no scaling plan.
On both options the drawdown follows the balance upward and then stops for good once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. From that point it is a fixed floor and no longer moves.
On Option 2 the daily loss limit stays active for the whole life of the account and is never lifted. The $25,000 Option 2 account is the exception: it has no daily loss limit.

We split that step out and call it the Buffer Zone. It is where you build the balance that carries into your Sim Funded account, and it is deliberately gentler than the evaluation you just passed: a smaller target and no daily loss limit.
| Account size | Profit target | Drawdown | Consistency | Largest single day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,500 | $1,200 Trailing (EOD) | 34% | $510 (34% of target) |
| 50K | $3,000 | $2,000 Trailing (EOD) | 34% | $1,020 (34% of target) |
| 100K | $3,500 | $2,500 Trailing (EOD) | 34% | $1,190 (34% of target) |
| 150K | $2,000 | $-1,000 Static | 34% | $680 (34% of target) |
| 200K | $3,000 | $-2,000 Static | 34% | $1,020 (34% of target) |
| 300K | $3,500 | $-2,500 Static | 21% | $735 (21% of target) |
And if you fail it, you reset the Buffer Zone on its own. Your evaluation still stands — you never go back to the beginning. Resets are $250 each for the first three, then $300 for resets four to six, $350 for seven to nine, and so on. If your Buffer Zone had already passed into Sim Funded, a reset is $500. These are the Propel Buffer Zone reset prices.
Phase 3 — Sim Funded
Your account is still simulated, but the profits are real and you can withdraw them. There is no profit target here — the job is to keep trading well.

Payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, on any balance above your starting balance. Requests made before 11am ET are processed the same trading day. While Sim Funded, stop trading for the day once you are $5,000 up and for the week once you are $10,000 up — passing $10,000 in total profit triggers a review for Live Brokerage, where the caps come off entirely.
Nothing is charged during this phase. Your subscription ended at the evaluation.
How the consistency rule works
The consistency rule keeps your biggest day in proportion to the rest of your trading. We compare your largest single profitable day against the sum of your profitable days. Losing days are left out of the calculation entirely — many firms divide by your net profit instead, which shrinks the number you are measured against and makes the rule harder to satisfy.
Here is a week counted both ways. Say you made $1,000 on Monday, $900 on Tuesday, lost $600 on Wednesday, then made $900 on Thursday and $600 on Friday:
- At BluSky we add up your profitable days: $1,000 + $900 + $900 + $600 = $3,400. Your biggest day of $1,000 is 29.4% of that — inside the 34% rule. ✅
- Counting net profit instead subtracts the losing day: $3,400 − $600 = $2,800. The same $1,000 day is now 35.7% — outside the same rule. ❌
The 300K works to a 21% rule instead, so the same week would need your profit spread across more days to comply.
Being out of consistency does not fail your account. It is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and you fix it by trading on — every additional profitable day grows the total you are measured against and brings your percentage down.
Resetting a Propel evaluation
Most traders do not pass first time. A reset clears the days traded, the balance and the rules by creating a fresh evaluation account, so you can try again without buying a new plan.

Your drawdown stops moving once you have earned it back. The floor trails your closed daily profit dollar-for-dollar, and once your lifetime net profit matches your starting drawdown it locks permanently at your starting balance. From that point the account cannot fail below breakeven.
A 40% consistency rule applies while Sim Funded, and payouts become available every three trading days once your balance is above the threshold in the table above.
Say you made $1,400 on Monday, $900 on Tuesday, lost $900 on Wednesday, then made $900 on Thursday and $400 on Friday:
- At BluSky we add up your profitable days: $1,400 + $900 + $900 + $400 = $3,600. Your biggest day of $1,400 is 38.9% of that — inside the 40% rule. ✅
- Counting net profit instead subtracts the losing day: $3,600 − $900 = $2,700. The same $1,400 day jumps to 51.9% — outside the same rule. ❌
Being out of consistency does not fail your account. It is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and you fix it by trading on — every additional profitable day grows the total you are measured against and brings your percentage down.

Trailing Drawdown: How It Works
The trailing drawdown for Instant Sim Funded Accounts is set at 3-4% of the starting balance for your account. It tracks the highest account balance achieved by the end of the day (5pm EST) and ensures traders remain within acceptable risk limits.
Section: Trailing Drawdown: How It Works
− Here’s the breakdown by account size:
− - $25,000 Account: $1,000
− - $50,000 Account: $2,000
− - $100,000 Account: $3,000
− - $150,000 Account: $4,500
Key Points About Trailing Drawdown
- Dynamic Calculation:
The trailing drawdown moves up as your account balance reaches new highs but never moves down, even if your balance decreases.
- End of Day:
The drawdown is based on your highest closed balance by the end of the day (5pm EST), ensuring clarity and fairness.
- Account Breach:
If your balance falls below the trailing drawdown level, the account is considered breached and your account will be closed.
When Does My Drawdown Lock?
Once you reach the amount of your drawdown in profits plus $100, the drawdown locks in at your starting balance and no longer trails with your account growth.

Top One Futures Path To Trading Live
✅ Clear Path to Live
✅ Daily Payouts
✅ No Maximum Withdrawal Limits
✅ Consistency Rule Removed
The following outlines your path to becoming a live trader without any need to risk your own personal funds.
Transitioning to Live
After 3 successful payouts from one account, a risk manager will review your account and either:
- Keep you in the Sim Funded environment for further review
- Transition you to a Live Account
Section: Transitioning to Live
− Note: Top One Futures may transition you to a Live Account sooner than your third payout.
− When transitioning to a live account, all other accounts are temporarily disabled while the risk manager evaluates the trader's performance. Trading on SIM funded accounts is not permitted during this review period.
− When transitioning to Live, Trader will start with a maximum of one (1) Live Account. If you have any other accounts, they will be closed.
What is the Pre-Live Stage and Why Does It Exist?
Section: What is the Pre-Live Stage and Why Does It Exist?
− Our goal is to fund real traders with real capital. However, based on trader behavior and breach patterns during our first batch of Live transitions, we learned that even successful SIM traders can struggle with the psychological shift of trading live.
− To bridge that gap, we created the Pre-Live stage, a critical step in your transition from Sim Funded to fully Live capital.
− Why Pre-Live Exists
The Pre-Live environment allows us to:
− - Assess how a trader handles live-market psychology and risk management under real-time pressure
- Protect firm capital from immediate exposure to high-risk behavior
- Smooth out the Live transition by evaluating traders in a realistic yet controlled setting
What Traders Gain in Pre-Live:
Section: What Traders Gain in Pre-Live:
− You’re still receiving all the benefits of Live without the full downside risk:
− Daily Payouts: Take up to 1 payout per day, starting the moment you're in profit
− No Consistency Rule: You're free to trade your strategy without profit distribution restrictions
− No Maximum Withdrawal Limits: Grow and withdraw based on your performance
− Smoother Onboarding: Your Pre-Live account is typically active within 3–5 business days (vs. up to 14-30 days under the old model)
− Better Trading Conditions: Pre-Live environments mirror SIM-funded setups, but often with slightly tighter execution and fewer platform restrictions
Pre-Live Challenge Purchase & Progression Rules
While in the Pre-Live stage, you are allowed to purchase and trade on one challenge account only.
However, during this stage:
- Trading is only allowed on ONE CHALLENGE account (no sim funded)
- No payouts can be requested from newly purchased challenge accounts
Section: Pre-Live Challenge Purchase & Progression Rules
− - Progression to a Funded account is restricted until you exit Pre-Live
What Comes Next?
Once you’ve shown consistent profitability and discipline in Pre-Live, your account will be upgraded to a brokerage account, where real capital is deployed and you’ll begin trading under full Live conditions. This tiered approach allows us to responsibly allocate funds while giving traders every opportunity to prove they’re ready without disrupting your payout cycle or forcing you to “start over.”
Section: Transitioning to Live
− How Do We Move Funds to Live?
− Your Sim profits (after your third payout) up to a maximum of 10% of your starting sim balance will be carried over to your Pre-Live or Live Account, depending on which account we start you off on.
− Please note only one account will move over to live, so only the highest profit on one account will be carried over, if you have 3 $100k accounts and each have $5k in profits, you'll be given a $5k live account.
− Examples:
− - Trader has one $100K Sim Funded Account with a balance of $109,000 after their 3rd payout. ($9,000 in profit) $9,000 will be moved to live as their starting balance.
− - Trader has three $150K Sim Funded Accounts ($450K total) with each account sitting at $160k ($10,000 in profit).
− $10,000 will be moved to live as the traders starting balance.
− Live Payout Policy
− - Profit Split: When a trader is moved to a live account, their profit split will go from 90/10 to 80/20 and Top One Futures will re-invest their 20% share into helping you scale your capital. (see scaling plan below)
− - Daily Payouts: Payouts are available every 24-hours after the previous payout is approved. (Minimum payout = $200)
− - Profits available for payout: Withdraw-able profits are profits created in excess of your starting balance.
− Live Account Rules
− The following Live Account Rules are designed to allow you to maximize profits, while maintaining a long-term trading plan.
− - Your Daily Loss Limit is set to ensure the best interests of the trader and the firm to maximum profitability.
− - Your Max Loss Limit will be set at 60% of your account size. (Static drawdown i.e. it does not trail)
− - The consistency rule will be removed unless Trader requests to keep it in place.

✅ Clear Path to Live
✅ Daily Payouts
✅ No Maximum Withdrawal Limits
✅ Consistency Rule Removed
The following outlines your path to becoming a live trader without any need to risk your own personal funds.
Transitioning to Live
After 3 successful payouts from one account, a risk manager will review your account and either:
- Keep you in the Sim Funded environment for further review
- Transition you to a Live Account
Section: Transitioning to Live
+ Note: Top One Futures may transition you to a Live Account sooner than your third payout depending on your trading history.
+ When transitioning to a live account, all other accounts are temporarily disabled while the risk manager evaluates the trader's performance. Trading on SIM accounts is not permitted during this review period.
+ When transitioning to Live, Trader will start with a maximum of one (1) Live Account, with the ability to scale up to 5 live accounts.
+ How Do We Move Funds to Live?
+ Rather than carrying over a capped amount of sim profits as was our previous policy, traders will receive live accounts (scaling up to 5) in proportion to the account size traded in sim with the following parameters.
+
| Live Acct Size | Starting Balance | MLL - EOD Drawdown | EOD Balance to Trigger DD Lock | Drawdown Lock | DLL | Max Contracts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $0 | $1,000 | $1,100 | $100 | None | 1 |
| $50K | $0 | $2,000 | $2,100 | $100 | None | 3 |

| $150K | $0 | $4,000 | $4,100 | $100 | None | 7 |
+ Traders will start with one (1) live account. Based on the number of qualifying sim accounts, traders will receive another live account each time the previously granted live account reaches a total of 5% in end of day profits.
+ Example:
+ - When a $50K live account achieves at least 5% in profits ($2,500), Trader will be granted their 2nd $50K live account.
+ - When the trader achieves at least 5% in profits ($2,500) on their 2nd live $50K account, Trader will be granted their 3rd $50K live account.

The Pre-Live environment allows us to:

- Protect firm capital from immediate exposure to high-risk behavior
- Smooth out the Live transition by evaluating traders in a realistic yet controlled setting

Before
You will not be able to trade until this acknowledgment is completed.
4. Future Hedging Attempts — Immediate Liquidation
After acknowledgement:
- Any future hedging attempt will trigger immediate liquidation:
- After liquidation, you may continue trading
- You will not be given time to unhedge
5. Excessive Hedging Attempts — Temporary Violation
After excessive hedging attempts:
- Your positions will be immediately liquidated
- You will not have the opportunity to unhedge
- A Temporary Hedging Violation will be issued and you will be prohibited from trading for the remainder of the trading day.
- The violation will apply across the hedged accounts
Section: 5. Excessive Hedging Attempts — Temporary Violation
− Please note: after numerous warnings, your account may be permanently closed without further notice if you continue to hedge your positions. This action is irreversible. For this reason, it's very important that you review our Hedging Policy and trade responsibly.
Important Notes
- Monitoring applies in real-time
- Time windows may be adjusted by Risk & Leadership teams
- Violations apply across all accounts involved in hedging
- This policy applies to the Trading Combine, Express, and Live Accounts
Copy Trading and Technical Errors
Technical glitches and copy trading software can create temporary opposite positions — our system accounts for that. But you're still fully responsible for all activity across your accounts, including anything created by automated systems or third-party tools. Manual errors, such as switching directions without closing prior positions, can also result in unintentional hedging.
⚠️ If a hedged position meets our criteria (size, duration, intent), enforcement happens. No exceptions.
How to Avoid Hedging Violations
Best Practices
- Trade a single account to completely avoid the possibility of hedging
- Trade each account independently based on your own analysis
- Don't coordinate positions across accounts (or other traders) to offset risk
- Monitor copy trading tools to ensure they're not creating opposite positions
- Close any accidental hedges immediately if they occur
- Contact Support before implementing any strategy you're unsure about
- Flatten Positions Before Switching Directions: Ensure all open positions are closed and any working orders are canceled before entering a new trade in the opposite direction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I trade the same instrument across multiple accounts?
Yes! You can trade the same markets across different accounts. What's prohibited is holding opposite positions simultaneously in a way that eliminates market risk.
What if I disagree with an enforcement decision?
Section: What if I disagree with an enforcement decision?
− All audit decisions are final. We encourage you to review our trading policies to ensure full compliance moving forward. If you have general questions about the policy itself, we are happy to clarify.
Are hedging attempts tracked at the account level or trader level?
Hedging attempts are tracked at the Trader level. If a Trader received a first-time warning and acknowledged the hedging policy, subsequent hedging activity in any newly purchased account is treated as a post-acknowledgment violation.
Are Practice Accounts included in Hedging Alerts?
No. Practice Accounts are not included in Hedging detection.
What happens if I fail to close an accidental overlap?
If a hedging violation is not resolved within the warning window, positions will be automatically liquidated, and accounts flagged.
Does Topstep allow brief or unintentional overlaps of opposing positions?
No. Opposing positions are prohibited even if the overlap is brief or unintentional. However, first-time violations are treated as warnings with a brief window to un-hedge, as described in our enforcement policy above.
Will a hedging warning affect my payout request?
No, warnings alone do not impact your payouts.

Until traders transition to a Live Account, there is a Maximum Payout Limit in place. This FAQ explains how this works and what traders can expect.
What is the Maximum Payout Until Live?
While in the Sim Funded stage, traders can withdraw profits, but there is a limit on how much can be withdrawn in a single payout. Once a trader qualifies for a Live Account, this limit is removed, and traders can withdraw without restriction.

What the page said before and after
Before
- You reach a total profit of $3,000
- Your single best day was $1,500.
- Calculation: ($1,500 ÷ $3,000) * 100 = 50%
- Result: You FAIL (50% is greater than 20%).
"I failed... how do I fix my score?"
If your score is too high, you must "fix" your score by accumulating more profits. You need to make that best day equal 20% of a new, larger total profit.
- Using Example 2:
- Your best day is $1,500.
- To find the profit target you need: $1,500 ÷ 0.20 = $7,500
- You must grow your total profit to $7,500 (without having another day better than $1,500) to meet the 20% rule.
3. Maximum Payout Amount
To ensure consistent growth and risk management, there is a maximum amount you can withdraw per payout request. This limit is based on your account size.
Section: Instant Sim Funded Accounts (purchased before 7/27/2026)
− - $25,000 Account: Max $1,500 per withdrawal

− - $100,000 Account: Max $3,000 per withdrawal
− - $150,000 Account: Max $3,500 per withdrawal
If your profit exceeds this amount, you can simply request the maximum, and the remaining profit will stay in your account to be withdrawn in a future payout request or as buffer.

− Overview of the Instant Sim Funded Program at Top One Futures
Top One Futures’ Instant Sim Funded Program is designed for traders who want to skip the evaluation phase and start trading immediately with a funded simulation account. This program offers fast access to capital, along with structured risk management rules to promote long-term consistency and success. Here’s a complete breakdown of how it works:
1. No Evaluation, Instant Access
The Instant Sim Funded Program gives traders immediate access to a sim-funded account—no need to pass a challenge first. You choose your account size and can begin trading right away under real market conditions with built-in risk parameters.
2. Drawdown Rules:
Max Trailing Drawdown
- It trails your highest closed balance but never moves down.
- If your balance falls below the trailing drawdown level, the account is breached and closed.
Section: Max Trailing Drawdown
− Starting Max Drawdown by Account Size:
- $25,000 → $1,000
- $50,000 → $2,000
- $100,000 → $3,000
- $150,000 → $4,500
3. Drawdown Lock
Once your profits reach the drawdown amount plus $100, your trailing drawdown locks at $100 above your starting balance and no longer follows account growth. This provides more stability and reduces the risk of losing access to the account as you scale.
Examples:
- $50K account → Lock occurs at $52,100; drawdown locks at $50,100.
Section: 3. Drawdown Lock
− - $100K account → Lock occurs at $103,100; drawdown locks at $100,100.
− This lock also activates after your first payout, even if you haven’t reached the profit + $100 threshold yet.
− 4. Consistency Rule: To be eligible for a payout, your consistency score must be 20% or lower
To qualify for payouts, your trading must reflect steady, disciplined performance. No single day’s profit may exceed 20% of your total profits.
After a payout is taken from an Instant Sim Funded account, the consistency score is reset, and the consistency rule is then applied to new profits moving forward. This ensures that traders demonstrate steady performance rather than relying on one or two highly volatile trading sessions.
All the information regarding the consistency rule on Instant Sim Funded Accounts can be found here.
Example: If your total profit is $10,000, no single trading day should exceed $2,000 in profit.
This rule encourages balanced trading instead of relying on a single high-risk session.
Please Note: For the purposes of consistency rule calculation, a trading day ends at 5:00pm EST.
Section: 6. No Contract Scaling Requirements
− 5. No Contract Scaling Requirements
There are no scaling rules in the Instant Sim Funded Program. You are allowed to use the full contract limit for your account size from day one. Choose an account size that fits your trading style and strategy.

- $100,000 Account – Max $3,000 per withdrawal

The drawdown lock at Top One Futures is designed to reward profitable traders while maintaining responsible risk management. By locking in at $100 above the starting balance after a payout, traders can protect their earnings and continue trading with confidence.
At Top One Futures, we implement a drawdown lock to help traders protect their profits as they progress in their sim funded accounts. This feature allows traders to build their account without worrying about their drawdown continuing to trail indefinitely, providing more stability and security as they withdraw funds.
When Does My Drawdown Lock Based on Profits Achieved?
Once you reach the amount of your total drawdown in profits plus $100, the drawdown locks in at your starting balance and no longer trails with your account growth.
Instant Sim Funded Examples:
On a 25K account, your max drawdown is $1,000. Once your balance reaches $26,100, the drawdown locks at $25,100 and no longer trails.
On a 50K account, your max drawdown is $2,000. Once your balance reaches $52,100, the drawdown locks at $50,100 and no longer trails.
Section: Instant Sim Funded Examples:
− On a 100K account, your max drawdown is $3,000. Once your balance reaches $103,100, the drawdown locks at $100,100.
− On a 150K account, your max drawdown is $4,500. Once your balance reaches $154,600, the drawdown locks at $150,100.
+ On a 100K account, your max drawdown is $4,000. Once your balance reaches $104,100, the drawdown locks at $104,100.
+ On a 150K account, your max drawdown is $5,250. Once your balance reaches $155,350, the drawdown locks at $150,100.
Elite Sim Funded Examples:
On a 50K account, your max drawdown is $2,000. Once your balance reaches $52,100, the drawdown locks at $50,100 and no longer trails.
On a 100K account, your max drawdown is $3,000. Once your balance reaches $103,100, the drawdown locks at $100,100.
On a 150K account, your max drawdown is $4,500. Once your balance reaches $154,600, the drawdown locks at $150,100.
Lock Upon Payout
Upon trader's first payout, your maximum trailing drawdown will also lock in at the starting balance +$100. From the moment you make a payout, the drawdown no longer trails with your account growth, regardless of how much you continue to grow your account. 1-Step Elite Challenge
The 1-Step Elite Challenge is designed as a traditional evaluation pathway for disciplined traders. Under this model, you must successfully reach a specific profit target while adhering to risk management rules to prove your trading skills.
Once the profit target is reached and the Elite Challenge is passed, an activation fee is required to transition from the challenge phase to a funded environment where you then can work towards a payout.
This path is ideal for traders who are confident in their ability to pass evaluations and want to benefit from a 25% consistency rule, which is more generous than the rules found in the Instant or Ignite account models.

What the page said before and after
Before
Alpha Futures payout policies are extremely straight forward; follow the rules and you will be paid out. No additional hoops to jump through or hidden denials. Make sure to review our News Trading Policy and Prohibited Practices.
− There are core similarities in the payout policy across both Evaluation to Qualified account types (Advanced, and Zero) at Alpha Futures:
- Traders have the ability to pay themselves up to 4 times a month. Request every 5 winning trading days of $200 profit, or more
- The winning trading days do not need to be consecutive, but 5 need to be accumulated between each withdrawal request.
- You may request up to 50% of the profit in your account each withdrawal request (up to withdrawal limit), the rest of the balance stays on the account for drawdown or future withdrawals.
- All withdrawal requests are the amount that will be removed from your trading account, trader received 90% of this request.
Withdrawal minimum, maximum, and consistency rule will depend on the account type chosen (outlined below).
Direct Accounts have the same profit split, but no winning day requirement, like our Evaluation to Qualified Accounts. Full details on each:
Advanced Qualified Accounts
The minimum withdrawal request on Advanced Qualified Accounts is $1,000, maximum is industry leading $15,000 on all Advanced Account sizes.
There is no Consistency Rule on Advanced Qualified Accounts.
Zero Qualified Accounts
Traders that choose the Zero Account must also adhere to a 40% Consistency Rule to be eligible for a withdrawal request.
The minimum withdrawal request on Zero Accounts is $200:
25k Zero Qualified Account maximum withdrawal is $1,000
50k Zero Qualified Account maximum withdrawal is $1,500
100k Zero Qualified Account maximum withdrawal is $2,500
Direct Qualified Accounts

Withdrawal Profit Targets are the profit needed to earn in between withdrawal requests. After each withdrawal, your profit target resets and you must earn fresh profit from new trades to reach the next target. Leftover profit from the previous cycle does not carry over.

− Standard Account has been RETIRED as of May 1, 2026. No retroactive changes, but it is no longer for sale here at Alpha. For legacy users looking to review policies on the site at the time of purchase, that may be viewed below.
In order to pass a Standard Evaluation: there are two conditions to be met, the trader must reach (+ maintain) the profit target, and satisfy the 50% consistency rule.
There is only one way to fail on Evaluation Accounts, do not allow the Account Balance to hit or exceed the Maximum Loss Limit.
Benefits of Standard Account:
− 1.) Largest withdrawal cap in industry of $15,000, per request, per account.
− 2.) Consistent Profit Target to Drawdown Ratios on all account sizes. Other firms tighten drawdown on their 100k+ accounts.
− 3.) No Daily Loss Guard on Evaluations.
− 4.) Trade with more freedom. Most accounts on market have BOTH tough consistency and 5-10 trading day requirements. It only takes 3 trading days to be able to satisfy our 40% consistency rule.
− 5.) No buffer requirements. No "can't withdraw until ____ level" or "must keep $____" in your account, that is up to the user how they would like to manage it.
6.) No "MLL slides to $0 at first withdrawal" rule. Other firms punish you for taking small payouts, not here. If MLL was at $49,200 before payout, it will be after as well.

− Standard Account Payout Policy:
− Traders may request payouts every 14 days from first trade placed on their Qualified Account as long as the 40% Consistency Rule is satisfied. Payouts will be processed in 48 hours or less.
− Realize your withdrawals contribute towards your Maximum Loss Limit. For example, let’s say you have grown your $50k account to $55,000, your MLL is $50,000. If you want to, you may withdraw all $5,000 of your profit and receive $4,500 (90%).
− However, your account balance will now be $50,000 which would breach MLL and effectively close your account.
− We encourage traders to focus on longevity and pay themselves as they profit, rather than trying to catch one big day or week then close out the account.

+ 1.) Double the withdrawal caps of the Zero Account
+ 2.) No Daily Loss Guard on Evaluations.

Before
There are no news trading restrictions for any Evaluation Accounts.
Advanced Qualified Accounts do not have News Trading Restrictions, but please review the Prohibited Trading Practices. An "all or nothing" approach or gambling tendencies still will not be tolerated at any time, especially during high volatility events.
− Direct and Zero Qualified Accounts
You may hold through news releases following your trading plan, but no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after high impact news events.
Here at Alpha Futures we refer to the Calendar on ForexFactory. Any events related to the asset you are trading (USD for /ES, NQ, /GC, /CL for example) with a red folder is considered high impact and this rule applies.
Speeches
The high impact speeches will be marked in Forex Factory with a red folder, just like other High Impact Events. The 4 minute window only applies to the start time listed of the speech event, not its entirety.
If you violate this policy, your profits on the trade within the 4 minute window will be void, your payout will be denied, and you will have to wait until the next eligible payout date to request again. We understand people make mistakes, the first time violating this rule will only be a warning, and trader will be able to keep their account. Subsequent violations after warning will lead to breach of the account.

What the page said before and after
Before
Transitioning to a Live Brokerage account is a major step forward, and understanding how risk is managed is key to protecting your funded status.
Risk management in Live Brokerage features an End of Day (EOD) trailing drawdown model and specific withdrawal buffer rules. Let's break down exactly how your trailing drawdown floor moves and how to structure your payouts safely. 👇
🔄 How the End of Day (EOD) Trailing Drawdown Works
Your risk limit in Live Brokerage is tracked using an EOD trailing drawdown level. This means your drawdown floor updates dynamically based only on your account balance at the close of the trading day.
🛑 At What Point Does the Trailing Drawdown Stop?
The drawdown trails your closed daily profit upward dollar-for-dollar until your account balance closes the day in profit at or above the level of your initial drawdown limit. Once your lifetime net profit equals your starting drawdown threshold, the trailing drawdown permanently locks at $0 (your initial starting balance base).
Here is how this rule applies across all our account tiers based on our designated live specifications:
- 50K Live Brokerage Account (Drawdown Limit: $2,000): Your drawdown trails until you make $2,000 in net profit. At that point, your trailing drawdown stops and locks permanently at $0.
Section: 🛑 At What Point Does the Trailing Drawdown Stop?
− - 100K Live Brokerage Account (Drawdown Limit: $2,500): Your drawdown trails until you make $3,000 in net profit. At that point, your trailing drawdown stops and locks permanently at $0.
- 150K Live Brokerage Account (Drawdown Limit: $4,500): Your drawdown trails until you make $4,500 in net profit. At that point, your trailing drawdown stops and locks permanently at $0.
- 200K Live Brokerage Account (Drawdown Limit: $3,000): Your drawdown trails until you make $3,000 in net profit. At that point, your trailing drawdown stops and locks permanently at $0.
🎮 Sim Funded Account (SFA) Drawdown Levels
Just like the Live Brokerage phase, your risk parameters during the Sim Funded stage are also monitored using an End of Day (EOD) trailing drawdown model to help you practice professional execution habits before moving to live contract rules.
The drawdown limits for your Sim Funded Account track as follows:
- 50K SFA Account ➡️ Drawdown Limit: $2,000
- 100K SFA Account ➡️ Drawdown Limit: $3,000
- 150K SFA Account ➡️ Drawdown Limit: $4,500
- 200K SFA Account ➡️ Drawdown Limit: $3,000
💸 Live Payout Minimums & The Essential $100 Safety Buffer
When you are ready to withdraw your live performance profits, there are two crucial operational rules to keep in mind:
- Minimum Payout Request: The absolute minimum amount allowed for any single live brokerage payout request is $250.

+ - 100K Live Brokerage Account (Drawdown Limit: $3,000): Your drawdown trails until you make $3,000 in net profit.

The drawdown limits for your Sim Funded Account track as follows:

💸 Live Payout Minimums & The Essential $100 Safety Buffer

- Minimum Payout Request: The absolute minimum amount allowed for any single live brokerage payout request is $250.
