There are some very important differences to keep in mind. A subsequent exchange or transfer of accounts is not possible.
Please make sure to select the correct option directly when purchasing a Challenge. Purchased accounts cannot be changed afterward. Additionally, Challenge accounts cannot be migrated to Tradovate, and only accounts with a Daily Loss Limit (not Max Position Loss) are eligible for Tradovate.
Account Type | DatenFeed | Platforms | 24/7
Crypto / CFD | FXCM / ByBit | Volumetrica IQC Trader | Yes*
CFD | BlackBull / GBE | Meta Trader 5 | Yes*
− Futures | dxFeed prop | DeepCharts (+Web),ATAS/ATAS-X,Quantower, Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader | No
*We explicitly point out that regular as well as unannounced maintenance work and updates may take place on the trading platforms and accounts. No guarantee or liability is assumed that existing swing trades will not be closed as a result of these technical processes.
For technical reasons, cross-platform use of accounts is generally not possible. However, Futures accounts can be migrated to Tradovate under specific conditions, allowing the use of TradingView or NinjaTrader for order execution. Consequently, trading with a Futures or MetaTrader account via the IQC Trader platform is still not possible, nor is using a Crypto/CFD account on the ATAS, Quantower, or DeepCharts platforms.
How to Connect TradingView and NinjaTrader with Tradovate
- Connecting TradingView with Tradovate: Click on "Trade" in the top-right corner of TradingView and select "Tradovate." Log in using your Tradovate credentials.
- Connecting NinjaTrader with Tradovate: Open the IQ Dashboard, select your Futures account, and follow the connection/login steps via Tradovate.

A RESET resets your account balance* (both Eval and Funded) upon request for a corresponding fee. A RESET does NOT reset your time remaining. It is not the same as an "EXTEND".
− *Exception: The $9 Promo cannot be reset!
Account Display Issues: If an account, such as a 50k account, is not visible in the dashboard, ensure all required agreements, like the data feed agreement, are signed. Open your dashboard on a laptop or PC and confirm the "Sign this Agreement" prompt. Once signed, the account should appear.
Activation Fees and Upgrades: After passing a Challenge, you can upgrade your account and keep it inactive until you choose to pay the activation fee. Note that this fee cannot be waived as it covers the costs associated with account activation.
Would you like to extend your account because time is running out in the evaluation phase, or because you want to continue using your Funded account? Please remember to process this extension yourself and in a timely manner. Simply use the "EXTEND" button in your dashboard.
Good to know: You can extend your account at any time. You won't lose any days! The newly booked time will simply be added exactly to the end of your current duration.
Reminder: IQ Capital sends timely email reminders and displays clear notifications in the dashboard when an extension is required. Regularly check your email and dashboard to stay informed.
Additional Information: Some accounts, such as Funded or Evaluation accounts, require manual renewal as they are not automatically extended. This gives users control over which accounts to keep. Ensure you process the extension within the 30-day renewal window to avoid expiration. Additionally, changes in payment providers may disrupt automatic billing, necessitating manual action.

How does the maximum drawdown work?
The maximum drawdown is adjusted daily after the New York close (EOD, approx. 5:15 PM EST). If your equity falls below this limit, the account will be closed.
The maximum drawdown trails your account balance until the initial balance of $10,000, $50,000, $100,000, or $200,000 is reached. Once this level is reached, the drawdown remains fixed permanently.
In Funding, the drawdown is adjusted to the starting balance after a Performance Reward payout and remains fixed at that level permanently.
Section: Phase 1: Before the limit freezes
− Example (100K Account)
Starting balance: $100,000
Section: Example: 100K account
− Max drawdown (6%): $6,000 → Initial max drawdown level: $94,000
− Day 1 (Profit)
End-of-day equity: $102,000
− →New drawdown level: $96,000 ($102,000 - $6,000)
− Day 2 (Loss)
End-of-day equity: $100,500
− →Drawdown level remains at: $96,000 (The limit does not move downward after losing days)
− Day 3 (Profit)
End-of-day equity: $103,000
− →New drawdown level: $97,000 ($103,000 - $6,000)
− Important:
− The drawdown level only increases when a new equity high is reached and does not decrease after losing days.

End-of-day equity: $100,500

+ Day 3 (profit)
End-of-day equity: $103,000
+ New drawdown limit: $97,000 ($103,000 − $6,000)
+ Phase 2: After the first performance reward
+ The first payout is capped at $1,500.
+ After that, the drawdown limit is moved to the starting balance and freezes there.
+ From that point:
+ - Drawdown limit = starting balance
+ - On a 100K account it stays at $100,000 permanently
+ - The buffer is no longer 6% below current balance
+ - Available buffer = current equity minus starting balance
+ - That is simply the profit still left on the account after the payout
+ If equity falls to or below starting balance, the account is closed.
+ Example: 100K account after the first payout
+ Equity before the payout is $103,000.
+ You withdraw the maximum first payout of $1,500.
+ - Equity after payout: $101,500
+ - Drawdown limit: $100,000 (frozen at starting balance)
+ - Available buffer: $1,500
+ - Not $6,000. Not 6% of $101,500.
+ If equity later rises to $106,000 with no further payout:
+ - The limit stays at $100,000
+ - Available buffer: $6,000
+ After the first payout, the limit no longer trails upward.
+ Quick comparison
+ | Before the first payout | After the first payout
+ Drawdown amount | 6% of starting balance | only the remaining profit
+ Drawdown limit | highest EOD equity minus 6% | fixed at starting balance
+ Limit moves up | yes | no
+ Limit moves down | never | never
+ First payout | not taken yet | maximum $1,500
+ Account closes when | EOD equity is below the trailing limit | EOD equity is at or below starting balance
+ Common mistakes
+ Wrong: “My drawdown is always 6% below my current balance.”
+ Right: That only applies before the limit is frozen, and only against the highest end-of-day equity.
+ Wrong: Drawdown and drawdown limit are the same thing.
+ Right: Drawdown is the distance. The limit is the equity level at which the account ends.
+ Wrong: After the first payout I have $6,000 of room again because this is a 100K account.
+ Right: After the payout you only have as much room as the profit left on the account.
+ Wrong: The Challenge works differently.
+ Right: The drawdown logic is the same in Challenge and Funded. A payout and the freeze to starting balance happen once the first withdrawal is made.
+ The limits in your dashboard always take priority. Percentages and account sizes can differ by product line (Crypto/CFD or Futures).

− A violation results in a soft breach:

- The account remains active
- Trading can continue immediately
− After the 3rd violation, a hard breach occurs and the account is closed.
Purpose of this rule
- Prevents excessive concentration in a single asset
- Avoids hidden over-leverage through multiple orders

Consistency & Profit Target
Section: Consistency & Profit Target
− In the Rapid Futures Funded Account, the profit target is determined by the 40% consistency rule.
− Your best trading day may not exceed 40% of your total profits.
− The consistency resets after each performance reward payout and is recalculated based on your next highest profit day.
− Example
− You start with a fresh account and make:
− - Day 1: $300 profit
− - Day 2: $270 profit
− Your highest profit day determines the required profit target.
− → Best Day: $300
− Since this may only represent 40% of the total profit:
− 300 ÷ 0.40 = 750
− This means you must reach a total profit of $750 for your $300 best day to represent only 40% of total profits and satisfy the consistency rule.
− As long as you do not exceed $300 profit in a single day, the target remains unchanged.
Drawdown Adjustment After First Payout

What the page said before and after
Before
Section: Challenge
− Consistency Rule (Funding only)
− Your best trading day may not exceed 30% of your total profit.
− Example:
− $258 best trading day → new minimum target = $860
− (258 ÷ 0.30)
− If your best winning day exceeds this limit, the profit target is automatically adjusted to ensure compliance with the rule.
− Consistency is reset after each Performance Reward payout and is then recalculated based on the next best trading day in the current cycle.
After
Section: Challenge
+ The consistency rule ensures that your profit comes from steady, sustainable trading rather than a single big day. It prevents results from relying on one outsized win and encourages a balanced, repeatable trading approach.
+ Challenge
+ Whether a consistency requirement already applies during the Challenge depends on the plan you choose.
+ Funding
+ In Funding, a consistency rule always applies.
+ You can find the exact consistency requirement for your account in the corresponding article or on our website.
