Futures Prop Firm Rule Radar

Every night Rule Radar archives the help center of every futures prop firm on the price list and shows exactly what changed: which page, which line, dated, before and after. Payout terms, consistency rules, drawdown math, activation fees: firms rewrite these without an announcement, and this is where you catch it. Updated pages open to the exact wording that changed, every article keeps a full version history you can compare, and a plain-English line on each row says what happened. Nothing here is written by the firms. It is their own help center, read every day and kept. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

Consistency Score
The consistency score is calculated as follows:
Section: Consistency Score
− The Consistency rule measures a trader’s ability to generate steady profits while managing risk. It is calculated using the following formula: Consistency Score = (Biggest Winning Day / Current Total Account Profit) × 100%
To be eligible for payout, your best day (i.e., your most profitable day) must not exceed 35% of the total profit. If your best day equals or exceeds 35% of the total profit, you’ll need to continue trading until your best day accounts for less than 35% of your total profits.
Important Note: Once a payout request is processed, the Maximum Loss Limit will automatically reset to the starting account balance, meaning the trader must ensure the account balance does not reach or fall below the starting account balance following the payout.

To receive the payment trader should ensure the profits across trades are meeting the consistency score.
The Consistency score should be up to 20%. The consistency score is calculated as follows:
Section: Inactivity
− Consistency Score = (Biggest Winning Day / Current Total Account Profit) × 100%. In simple words, it means that the biggest winning day cannot exceed 20% of the total profits made in the account. If the score exceeds 20%, the trader must continue trading until this score is reduced to 20% or lower.
For example, the highest profit earned in a day is $7,500, and the total profit earned so far is $25,000, then the Consistency score = (7500/25000)*100 = 30%. In this case, the trader must keep trading and earn a total profit of at least $37,500 (Additional profit of $12,500), so that the consistency score is brought down to 20%.

Stop-Loss Usage
A Stop-Loss order is a valuable risk management tool designed to limit potential losses by automatically closing a trade when the price reaches a predetermined level.
Section: Stop-Loss Usage
− On Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) accounts, the risk per trade idea should not exceed 1% of the initial account balance (for DX Futures) and 2% of the initial account balance (for Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts). A Stop Loss is mandatory on every trade. Trades without Stop Loss are considered to have infinite risk. If the floating (unrealized) loss on such a trade or trade idea exceeds 2%/1% (DX Futures) of the initial account balance at any time, the account will be terminated.
Traders who implement stop losses tend to achieve greater long-term success compared to those who don’t. Therefore, we strongly recommend incorporating stop losses into your trading.

Important: If you then close a trade with a $500 loss and your balance drops to $50,500, your limit remains at $49,000 because the drawdown trails the peak (High Water Mark), not the current balance.
Example 3: Locking at Initial Balance

However, such a trading style is not generally recommended due to the increased risks associated with price gaps & potential slippage due to unpredictable price movements.
Weekend Holding
Section: Weekend Holding
− Holding trades over the weekends is not allowed and is considered a hard breach. Trading resumes each day at 5:00 PM CT Monday to Friday and after the weekend on Sunday at 5:00 PM CT, unless a CME holiday is observed.
− Ensure all trades are closed before 3:30 PM CT on Friday, or they will be automatically closed by the system, and the account will be terminated. Once closed, these accounts cannot be reopened or reset.
Note 3.2 & 3.3: Some futures contracts(Mostly agricultural) close prior to 3:30 PM CT. For such instruments, positions must be closed before their respective markets close.
Example Trading Hours:
For example, the highest profit earned in a day is $7,500, and the total profit earned so far is $25,000, then the Consistency score = (7500/25000)*100 = 30%. In this case, the trader must keep trading and earn a total profit of at least $37,500 (Additional profit of $12,500), so that the consistency score is brought down to 20%.
Overnight holding
Section: Overnight holding
− Overnight holding of positions is not permitted; all trades must be closed before 3:30 PM CT Monday through Friday, 30 minutes before the daily CME Break. It remains the trader's responsibility to close the positions by 3:28 PM CT. Otherwise, our Risk Management Team will begin closing positions at 3:28 PM CT.

Risk Rule (Funded & Direct Accounts)
Section: Example 3: Locking at Initial Balance
− Your risk per trade idea should not exceed 1% of the account size (initial balance) in DX futures platform and a 2% risk of initial account balance on Tradovate, Ninjatrader and WealthCharts platforms. This includes:
− - Single Trade Idea
− - Layering/Splitting Positions
− - The 10-Minute Re-entry Rule
− This rule applies exclusively to Hola Prime (Funded or Direct) Accounts and does not extend to the Challenge phase. Violating this rule is considered a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.
− -
− Single Trade Idea
− The total risk on a single trade idea must not exceed 1% of the initial account balance (for DX Futures) and 2% of the initial account balance (for Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts).
− For example, on a $100,000 DX Futures account, your maximum allowed risk for one trade idea is $1,000.
− -
− Layering/Splitting Positions
+ Your risk per trade idea should not exceed 1% of the initial account balance on DX Futures platform and 2% of the initial account balance on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts platforms.
+ This rule applies exclusively to Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Accounts and Direct Accounts. It does not apply during the Challenge phase. A violation of this rule is considered a hard breach and will result in account termination.
+ Stop Loss Requirement
+ Risk is determined by the maximum potential loss on a trade based on the stop loss placement.
+ - A stop loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening a position or before closing the position, whichever occurs first.
+ - If no stop loss is placed within this timeframe, the position is considered to have infinite risk by default.
+ - Failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a hard breach and may result in account termination.
+ Once the stop loss requirement is met, risk is assessed based on the Single Trade Idea rule. This includes
+ - Layering / Splitting Positions
+ - 10-Minute Re-entry Rule
+ Layering/Splitting positions
If you open multiple positions on the same assets, same direction, with overlapping time, they are collectively treated as one single trade idea. This includes multiple entries opened and/or closed at different times.
Any continuous sequence or chain of such overlapping positions will also be treated as one single trade idea for risk calculation purposes.
In DX Futures, the combined risk of all these positions cannot exceed the 1% limit.
− In Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts, the combined risk of all these positions cannot exceed the 2% limit.

+ Total Risk Exposure (Trade 1 + Trade 2 + Trade 3):
+ 0.5% + 1.0% + 0.6% = 2.1% ($2,100)
+ Compliance Outcome:
+ The combined risk exposure for this trade idea exceeded the maximum permitted limit of 2% ($2,000). Accordingly, this constitutes a hard breach of the Risk per Trade Idea policy.
The 10-Minute Re-entry Rule
If you close a position and then open a new one in the same direction on the same assets within 10 minutes, the system considers this a continuation of the same trade idea.
Any continuous sequence or chain of such closely timed positions will also be treated as one single trade idea for risk calculation purposes.
In DX Futures, the combined risk of all these positions cannot exceed the 1% limit.
− In Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts, their cumulative risk is tracked against the 2% limit.
− Important Note
− - Stop loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening a position or prior to closing the position, whichever occurs earlier.
− - Breach of this rule will result in a hard breach and termination of the account.

+ Risk per Trade Idea Assessment
+ - Trade 2 was opened 31 minutes after Trade 1 had been closed. As the time gap exceeded 10 minutes, Trade 2 is classified as a new trade idea.
+ - Trade 3 was opened 5 minutes after Trade 2 had been closed. As it was executed on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and within 10 minutes of the previous position being closed, it is considered a continuation of the same trade idea.
+ - Trade 4 was opened 6 minutes after Trade 3 had been closed. Since it was executed on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and within 10 minutes, it is also considered a continuation of the same trade idea.
+ Total Risk Exposure (Trade 2 + Trade 3 + Trade 4):
+ 1.0% + 1.5% + 0.8% = 3.3% ($3,300)
+ Compliance Outcome:
+ Although Trade 2 began a new trade idea, both Trade 3 and Trade 4 were opened within 10 minutes of the preceding trade being closed. Therefore, Trade 2, Trade 3, and Trade 4 are treated as a single trade idea.
+ Since the combined risk exposure for this trade idea is 3.3% ($3,300), exceeding the maximum permitted limit of 2% ($2,000), this constitutes a hard breach of the Risk per Trade Idea policy.

+ Risk per Trade Idea Assessment
+ Trade 1 and Trade 2 overlapped in time on the same trading instrument and in the same direction. Therefore, they are treated as a single trade idea.
+ Trade 3 was opened 5 minutes after Trade 2 was closed. Since it was executed on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and within 10 minutes of closing Trade 2, it is considered a continuation of the same trade idea.
+ Total Risk Exposure (Trade 1 + Trade 2 + Trade 3):
+ 0.5% + 1.0% + 0.6% = 2.1% ($2,100)
+ Compliance Outcome:
+ Trade 1 and Trade 2 are considered a single trade idea due to their overlapping duration. Trade 3 is treated as a continuation of the same trade idea, as it was opened within 10 minutes of closing Trade 2. Accordingly, all three trades are assessed as one continuous trade idea.
+ The combined risk exposure across these trades was 2.1% ($2,100), exceeding the maximum permitted Risk per Trade Idea limit of 2% ($2,000). This constitutes a hard breach of the Risk per Trade Idea policy.
Additional Guidelines
General risk management rules should always be followed, and traders should operate the account as if it were their own capital. Please refer to prohibited gambling behavior for further details.

Risk Rule (Funded & Direct Accounts)
Section: Core Rules in the Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Account
− Your risk per trade idea should not exceed 1% of the initial account balance on DX Futures platform and 2% of the initial account balance on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts platforms. This includes:
− - Single Trade Idea
− - Layering/Splitting Positions
− - The 10-Minute Re-entry Rule
− This rule applies exclusively to Hola Prime (Funded or Direct) Accounts and does not extend to the Challenge phase. Violating this rule is considered a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.
− -
− Single Trade Idea
− The total risk on a single trade idea must not exceed 1% of the initial account balance (for DX Futures) and 2% of the initial account balance (for Tradovate, NinjaTrader or WealthCharts).

+ Risk per Trade Idea Assessment
+ As all three positions were opened on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and were active simultaneously, they are classified as a single trade idea in accordance with the Risk per Trade Idea policy.
− In Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts, the combined risk of all these positions cannot exceed the 2% limit.
