Rule Radar

Futures Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.

Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.

We track the published rules and policies of 32 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.

Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.

Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.

Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

− Lock Upon Payout
− When you request a payout, your maximum trailing drawdown will lock in at the starting balance plus $100. From the moment you make a payout, the drawdown no longer trails with your account growth, regardless of how much you continue to grow your account.
− How the Lock Upon Payout Works:
− When you qualify for and request a payout, the maximum drawdown locks in at your initial account balance plus $100. Here are two examples to illustrate this:
− Example:
− - Initial Balance: $100,000
− - Balance after Profit: $105,000
− - Payout Request: $3,000
− - New Balance after Payout: $102,000
− - Locked Drawdown: $100,100
− In this case, after your $3,000 payout, your maximum drawdown locks in at $100,100 leaving you with $1,900 of drawdown room before reaching your limit.
− Important Considerations:
− It's wise to leave a decent buffer so you don't breach your account. To avoid this, we have a couple of recommendations for you:
− - Leave Some Sim Profits as a Buffer: Instead of withdrawing the maximum amount of your sim profits, consider leaving some in your account. This will give you more breathing room and reduce the risk of breaching your account.
− - Grow Your Account Further: Another option is to grow your account by an additional 5% or more before taking your payout. This will give you a larger cushion and increase the likelihood of growing and compounding your account.
− Of course, the decision is ultimately yours. We are happy to process your payout, but our goal is to see you have many successful payouts with us in the future. We don't want you to jeopardize your account in any way.

+ Why this rule exists
The drawdown lock upon payout is designed to ensure long-term sustainability for both traders and the firm. This rule encourages traders to focus on long-term growth and compounding, which can lead to significantly larger payouts over time. By locking the drawdown at the starting balance after a withdrawal, traders are incentivized to manage their accounts with discipline and focus on continued growth.

How Is It Calculated?
Section: How Is It Calculated?
− The Daily Loss Limit is calculated using your previous trading day’s closing balance.
− Example – $25K Account
− - Daily Loss Limit: $500
− - Previous day closing balance: $26,000
− Your breach level for the current trading day becomes:
− $26,000 − $500 = $25,500
+ The Daily Loss Limit is calculated using your previous trading day's closing balance. Example for a $25K account:
+
StepAmount
+ Daily Loss Limit | $500
+ Previous day closing balance | $26,000
+ Breach level for the current trading day | $26,000 - $500 = $25,500
If your account equity or balance drops to $25,500 during the trading day, this is considered a DLL violation.
What Counts Toward the DLL?
Both balance and equity are monitored.
Daily Reset
Section: Daily Reset
− The DLL resets once per trading day based on the previous trading day’s closing balance.
− After the reset:
− - A new DLL threshold is calculated
− - The account receives a new daily risk limit

− Due to:
− - Market volatility
− - Slippage
− - Execution speed

− The DLL may:
− - Trigger later than expected
− - Trigger earlier than expected
− - Execute at a different price than expected
− Traders should always use proper hard stop losses directly on their trades.
− Top One Futures is not responsible for losses exceeding the Daily Loss Limit.

How Is It Calculated?
Section: How Is It Calculated?
− The Daily Loss Limit is a dynamic value calculated based on your previous day’s closing balance.
− Let’s use an example to illustrate:
− Rule: The daily loss allowed is $500 (for a $25K account).
− Previous Day’s Close:
− Let’s say you ended the previous day with a balance of $26,000.
− To find your breach level for the current day, you subtract the allowed loss from that balance:
− $26,000 (Previous Close) – $500 (Daily Loss) = $25,500
− This means that if your account’s equity drops to $25,500 at any point during the current trading day, the system will automatically execute market orders to liquidate all open positions.

− Important: 45% Consistency Rule* Still Applies
− Although there is no minimum day requirement, the 45% Consistency Rule* must still be respected.
− This means:
− No single trading day may account for more than 45% of your total profit at the time of passing.
− *40% Consistency Requirement on Accounts Purchased on or after 05/11/2026

− Profit Target: $3,000
− If you generate:
− Day 1: $2,000
− Day 2: $1,000
− Total = $3,000 → Target reached
− Check consistency:
− Largest day = $2,000
− $2,000 ÷ $3,000 = 66%
− This would not meet the 45% rule.
− You would need to continue trading to distribute profits more evenly.
− Example – Compliant
− Day 1: $1,200
− Day 2: $1,000
− Day 3: $800
− Largest day = $1,200

+ The Contract Scaling Plan applies only to funded Elite Daily accounts. There are no scaling restrictions during the evaluation phase. Once funded, your maximum contract size increases as your account equity grows. Your allowed contract size updates based on your closing balance at the end of each trading day.
+ Good to know: contract increases apply the following trading day after your closing balance qualifies. Intraday profits do not unlock higher scaling tiers until the day closes, and scaling never overrides the DLL or MLL rules.
Key Principles
- Scaling applies only to funded accounts
- Traders must remain within the allowed contract size at all times

+ The Max Loss Limit (MLL) is the maximum total loss your account can sustain before it is permanently breached. Unlike the Daily Loss Limit, the MLL is based on an End of Day (EOD) trailing drawdown model.
+ Good to know: the MLL does not trail intraday. It updates after the trading session closes, based on your end of day balance, and locks in at your starting balance + $100 once your account has grown enough. There are no warnings when the MLL is breached.

− This means:
+ The MLL follows a trailing model, but it only adjusts at the end of each trading day. This means:
- It does NOT trail intraday
- It updates after the trading session closes
- It is based on your end of day balance
− As your account grows, the drawdown level moves upward and locks in at your starting balance +$100 and does not continue to trail.
− If your account declines, the drawdown does not move down.
− Example – $50K Evaluation Account
− Starting Balance: $50,000
− MLL: $2,000
− Initial breach level:
− $50,000 – $2,000 = $48,000
− If you close Day 1 at $52,000:
− New trailing level:
− $52,000 – $2,000 = $50,000
− If on any future day your account closes at or below $50,000 → breach.
− Example – $100K Funded Account
− Starting Balance: $100,000
− MLL: $2,500
− Initial breach level:
− $97,500
− If you close the day at $108,000, your new breach level becomes $100,100 since the drawdown locks at the starting balance +$100.
− If a future day closes at or below $100,100 → account is terminated.
+ As your account grows, the drawdown level moves upward and locks in at your starting balance + $100 and does not continue to trail. If your account declines, the drawdown does not move down.

+ At Top One Futures, effective risk management is the foundation of our trading programs. Our drawdown rules ensure a fair and transparent trading environment while protecting traders from excessive losses. This article explains how the Max Trailing Drawdown operates on Elite accounts (for the Daily Drawdown, see Daily Drawdown: What You Need to Know). Note: the drawdown rules are the same for both Elite Evaluation Accounts and Elite Sim Funded Accounts.
+ Important note on intraday breaches: while the Max Trailing Drawdown is calculated based on your end-of-day balance, you cannot drop below the drawdown threshold at any time intraday. For example, on a $50,000 account with a $2,000 Max Trailing Drawdown, if your balance falls below $48,000, even for a moment, this will trigger a breach. Recovering above the threshold later in the session does not reverse the breach.

− Breach Condition:
+ Breach Condition
If your account balance falls below the trailing drawdown level, your account is considered breached, and trading will stop. If you are trading an Elite Sim Funded Account, your account will be closed. If you are trading an Elite Evaluation account, your account will be paused until your anniversary billing date, or you may purchase a reset prior to your anniversary date and begin trading immediately.
Section: Examples
− Example:
− - $25,000 Account:
− Trailing Drawdown = $1,000.
− If the highest closed balance is $26,000, the trailing drawdown moves to $25,000.
− If the balance drops below $25,000, the account is breached.
− - $50,000 Account:
− Trailing Drawdown = $2,000.
− If the highest closed balance is $51,000, the trailing drawdown moves to $49,000.
− If the balance drops below $49,000, the account is breached.
− ⚠️ Important Note on Intraday Breaches:
− While the Max Trailing Drawdown is calculated based on your end-of-day balance, you cannot drop below the drawdown threshold at any time intraday. What is the Consistency Rule?
Section: What is the Consistency Rule?
− To become eligible for a payout, the Consistency Rule requires that no single trading day's profit accounts for more than 25% of your total profits. After a payout is taken on an Instant Sim Funded account, your total profits reset, and the consistency rule begins again based on new profits moving forward. This ensures that traders demonstrate steady performance rather than relying on one or two highly volatile trading sessions.

How is the 25% Consistency Rule Calculated?
Section: How is the 25% Consistency Rule Calculated?
− The rule is based on your total profits over the entire period of having your account. No single day’s profit should exceed 25% of the total profits. The consistency rule is calculated from the first day of trading until you receive a payout. After each payout, the consistency rule resets and you will need to maintain the same consistency % to qualify for the next payout.
+ The rule is based on your total profits over the entire period of having your account. No single day's profit should exceed 25% of the total profits. The consistency rule is calculated from the first day of trading until you receive a payout. After each payout, the consistency rule resets and you will need to maintain the same consistency % to qualify for the next payout.
For example:
- If your total profit is $10,000, then no single trading day should account for more than $2,500 (25% of $10,000).
− - If one of your trading days results in a $3,000 profit while your total profits are $10,000, you wouldn’t meet the consistency rule, and would not be eligible for a payout. Once your total profits reach $12,000, you would then meet the consistency rule. (25% of $12,000 = $3,000)

+ Let's say you're trading a $100K account and earn the following profits:
+
Trading dayProfit
Day 1$2,200
Day 2$1,800
Day 4$2,000
Day 5$1,500
− Total Profit = $10,000
− Highest Day = $2,500
− Now calculate your consistency score:
− $2,500 ÷ $10,000 × 100 = 25%
− ✅ In this case, your highest day accounts for 25% of your total profit — which meets the rule. This means you would qualify for a payout.
+ Total profit | $10,000
+ Highest day | $2,500
+ Now calculate your consistency score: $2,500 / $10,000 x 100 = 25%. In this case, your highest day accounts for 25% of your total profit, which meets the rule. This means you would qualify for a payout.
How Can I Ensure Compliance with the Consistency Rule?
- Plan your trades carefully to avoid making excessive profits in a single day.
- Spread your gains evenly over multiple trading days.

+ Congratulations on your Elite Sim Funded Account! This account is designed to reward consistent, profitable traders. To be eligible to request a payout, you must meet three key requirements: a profit target, the 25% consistency rule, and the maximum payout amount per request.
+ In short: reach the profit target (6% for your first payout, 5% for the second, 4% from the third onwards), keep your best day under 25% of total profit, and request no more than the maximum per withdrawal for your account size.
1. The Profit Target
You must reach a specific profit target to be eligible for each payout. This target is dynamic, meaning it changes for your first three payouts to encourage consistent growth.
Section: 1. The Profit Target
− - First Payout: You must make 6% of your initial account balance.
− - Second Payout: You must make 5% on top of your new balance (after the first payout is deducted).
− - Third Payout (and all future payouts): You must make 4% on top of your new balance (after the previous payout is deducted).
− Example using a $50,000 Account:
− 1. For Your First Payout:
− - Target: 6% of $50,000 = $3,000
− - You must grow your account balance to $53,000.
− 2. For Your Second Payout:
− - Let's say you request a $1,500 payout. Your account balance is now $51,500 ($53,000 - $1,500).1.
− - Target: 5% of $51,500 = $2,575
− - You must grow your new balance to $54,075 ($51,500 + $2,575).
− 3. For Your Third Payout:
− - You request another $1,000 payout. Your account balance is now $53,075 ($54,075 - $1,000).
− - Target: 4% of $53,075 = $2,123
− - You must grow your new balance to $55,198 ($53,075 + $2,123).
− 2. 25% Consistency Rule
− This is a key performance metric. It ensures that your profits are earned steadily, rather than from a single "lucky" day.
− The Rule: Your single best trading day's profit cannot account for more than 25% of your total accumulated profit at the time of your payout request.
− The Formula: (Best Day's Profit / Total Profit) * 100 = Your Consistency Score
− Example 1: (PASS)
− - You reach a total profit of $3,000.
− - Your single best day was $600.
− - Calculation: ($600 ÷ $3,000) * 100 = 20%
− - Result: You PASS (20% is less than 25%).
− Example 2: (FAIL)
− - You reach a total profit of $3,000.
− - Your single best day was $1,000.
− - Calculation: ($1,000 ÷ $3,000) * 100 = 33.3%
− - Result: You FAIL (33.3% is greater than 25%).
− "I failed... how do I fix my score?"
− If your best day is too high, you must "fix" your score by accumulating more profits. You need to make that best day equal 25% of a new, larger total profit.
− - Using Example 2:
+
PayoutProfit target
+ First payout | 6% of your initial account balance
+ Second payout | 5% on top of your new balance (after the first payout is deducted)
+ Third payout (and all future payouts) | 4% on top of your new balance (after the previous payout is deducted)
+ Example using a $50,000 account
+
PayoutBalanceTargetBalance needed
First payout$50,000 | 6% of $50,000 = $3,000 | $53,000
+ Second payout (after a $1,500 payout) | $51,500 ($53,000 - $1,500) | 5% of $51,500 = $2,575 | $54,075
+ Third payout (after a $1,000 payout) | $53,075 ($54,075 - $1,000) | 4% of $53,075 = $2,123 | $55,198
+ 2. The 25% Consistency Rule
+ This is a key performance metric. It ensures that your profits are earned steadily, rather than from a single "lucky" day. The rule: your single best trading day's profit cannot account for more than 25% of your total accumulated profit at the time of your payout request. The formula: (Best Day's Profit / Total Profit) x 100 = Your Consistency Score.
+
Example | Total profit | Best day | CalculationResult
+ Example 1 | $3,000 | $600 | ($600 / $3,000) x 100 = 20% | PASS (20% is less than 25%)
+ Example 2 | $3,000 | $1,000 | ($1,000 / $3,000) x 100 = 33.3% | FAIL (33.3% is greater than 25%)
+ "I failed... how do I fix my score?" If your best day is too high, you must "fix" your score by accumulating more profits. You need to make that best day equal 25% of a new, larger total profit. Using Example 2:
- Your best day is $1,000.
Section: 2. The 25% Consistency Rule
− - To find the profit target you need: $1,000 ÷ 0.25 = $4,000
+ - To find the profit target you need: $1,000 / 0.25 = $4,000
- You must grow your total profit to $4,000 (without having another day better than $1,000) to meet the 25% rule.
Section: 3. Maximum Payout Amount
− 4. Maximum Payout Amount
+ 3. Maximum Payout Amount
To ensure consistent growth and risk management, there is a maximum amount you can withdraw per payout request. This limit is based on your account size.
− - $25,000 Account: Max $1,500 per withdrawal
− - $50,000 Account: Max $2,500 per withdrawal
− - $100,000 Account: Max $3,000 per withdrawal
− - $150,000 Account: Max $3,500 per withdrawal
+
Account sizeMaximum per withdrawal
$25,000$1,500$50,000$2,500$100,000$3,000$150,000$3,500
If your profit exceeds this amount, you can simply request the maximum, and the remaining profit will stay in your account to be withdrawn in a future payout request.

+ Pass the Elite Evaluation in Just One Trading Day
+ This article explains how there is no minimum number of trading days in the Elite Evaluation.
+ Updated today
+ Table of contents
+ At Top One Futures, we keep things simple: you can pass your Elite Evaluation in as little as one trading day. Unlike other firms that require traders to spread their profits over multiple days, we allow you to qualify as soon as you hit the 6% profit target while staying within the risk parameters.
+ No minimum, no maximum: the minimum requirement is just one trading day, and there is no maximum limit. Traders can take as much time as they need to hit the profit target, provided they follow the rules.
How Does This Work?

+ At Top One Futures, we offer a dynamic and flexible approach for traders to prove their skills and qualify for a Sim Funded Account through our Elite Evaluation. This Evaluation is designed for traders who demonstrate strong risk management and the ability to meet profit targets, all while ensuring fair and transparent rules for evaluation. Here's a breakdown of the key elements.
+ Quick summary: 6% profit target, no consistency rule during the Evaluation, 2.5% Daily Drawdown, Max Trailing Drawdown that locks at your starting balance + $100, a one-time $149 activation fee, and the option to pass in a single trading day.
1. Profit Target
Traders in the Elite Evaluation must reach a 6% profit target to qualify for a Sim Funded Account. This target is based on the initial account balance.
Section: 1. Profit Target
− - $25,000 account → $1,500 profit target
− - $50,000 account → $3,000 profit target
− - $100,000 account → $6,000 profit target
− - $150,000 account → $9,000 profit target
− Unlike other firms, we have no consistency rule during the Evaluation phase, meaning traders can reach their profit target in any number of days or with varying profit distribution. Whether you hit the target in one big move or over several sessions, as long as you stay within the risk parameters, you qualify for the next phase.
+
Account sizeProfit target
+ $25,000 | $1,500
+ $50,000 | $3,000
+ $100,000 | $6,000
+ $150,000 | $9,000
+ Unlike other firms, we have no consistency rule during the Evaluation phase, meaning traders can reach their profit target without worrying about daily profit distribution. Whether you hit the target in one big move or over several sessions, as long as you stay within the risk parameters, you qualify for the next phase.
2. Risk Management: Drawdown Rules
Section: 2. Risk Management: Drawdown Rules
− At Top One Futures, risk management is key, and our Daily Drawdown and Max Trailing Drawdown are in place to protect traders:
− - Daily Drawdown: Set at 2.5% of the account balance, based on the end-of-day balance. If this is breached, trading will pause for the day, but you can resume the following day.
− - Max Trailing Drawdown: The starting Max Trailing Drawdown is set as follows:
− - $25,000 account → $1,000
− - $50,000 account → $2,000
− - $100,000 account → $3,000
− - $150,000 account → $4,500
− This trailing drawdown adjusts dynamically based on your highest closed balance at the end of the day. For example, if you reach a balance of $51,000 on a $50,000 account, the trailing drawdown moves to $49,000. If the balance drops below this level, the account is breached.
− Once you reach the drawdown limit plus $100, it stays locked at your starting balance + $100, ensuring it no longer trails with your account growth.

3. Activation Fee
After successfully completing the Elite Evaluation, there is a one-time activation fee of $149 to activate your Sim Funded Account. This fee applies to all account sizes and covers the transition from Evaluation to live trading.
There are no contract scaling requirements for Elite Accounts. The maximum number of contracts allowed for each account size is fixed and does not change as you progress through the Evaluation. This provides flexibility and allows traders to choose the account size best suited to their trading goals.
5. Consistency Rule for Sim Funded Accounts
Section: 5. Consistency Rule for Sim Funded Accounts
− While there is no consistency rule during the Elite Evaluation phase, once you transition to an Elite Sim Funded Account, a 25% consistency rule applies. This rule ensures that no single trading day’s profit exceeds 25% of your total profits, promoting steady and sustainable performance.
− After a payout is taken from an Elite Sim Funded account, the consistency score is reset, and the consistency rule is then applied to new profits moving forward. This ensures that traders demonstrate steady performance rather than relying on one or two highly volatile trading sessions.

− 🌍 What if I'm traveling to a restricted country? What happens if I travel to a non-restricted country? If you’re traveling to a non-restricted foreign country, it is recommended to notify Top One Futures a few days in advance. Sending an email to [email protected] with your travel dates and destination ensures smooth access to your account and prevents login issues caused by foreign IP detection.
− If you are traveling to a country listed under our restricted or limited regions, you are not permitted to place trades while physically located in that country. Doing so will result in a hard breach of your account due to regulatory and compliance constraints. To ensure compliance, travelers are encouraged to provide valid documentation, such as travel itineraries, boarding passes, and accommodation receipts, to confirm the legitimacy of their travels. For domestic travel within your home country, notification is optional but recommended to prevent any unforeseen issues with account access or payouts.
− Important: If you plan to travel to a restricted country, please contact our support team in advance so we can place a note on your account. This is similar to our Inactivity Rule — we’re happy to work with you as long as we’re informed ahead of time. Additionally, confirming your travel details with these documents helps protect your account status during legitimate travel and avoids unnecessary interruptions. Valid supporting documents should be emailed to [email protected] for timely processing. Providing clear and legible documentation ensures smooth account management. If travel notification isn’t feasible before your trip, you can still take steps upon your return by logging in from an unrestricted region and contacting support to resolve account-related issues like flagged logins or restrictions.
− TL;DR:
− - 📝 Submit required travel documents, such as itineraries and boarding passes, to [email protected].
− - 🌍 Notify support about international travel, even to non-restricted countries, to prevent login issues from foreign IP detection.
− - 🏠 While domestic travel notification is optional, it helps ensure uninterrupted account access and payouts.
− - ✅ You can still own your account while abroad.
− - ❌ You cannot trade from a restricted country.
− - ✉️ Let us know beforehand if you’re traveling.
− Need more help? Message us through the Live chat and we’ll get you sorted. You may also email us at [email protected] for further assistance with travel compliance requirements.

− Examples:
− - ES = E-mini S&P 500
− - NQ = E-mini Nasdaq-100
− - CL = Crude Oil

− 2️⃣ Month Code (Letter)
− Futures contracts use a standardized letter to represent the expiration month:
−
MonthCode

− These month codes are globally standardized across futures markets.
− While the standard month codes (like U, V, X) are globally standardized across futures markets, not every instrument follows the same rollover schedule. Depending on what you are trading, you'll need to watch for different expiration cycles.
− 🔄 Rollover Frequencies
− - Quarterly Rollover (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec)
− - Common for Equity Index Futures (like the E-mini S&P 500 or Nasdaq 100).
− - Traders typically look for codes H, M, U, and Z. H stands for March, M stands for June, U represents September, and Z is the code for December.
− - Monthly Rollover
− - Standard for many Commodity Futures (like Crude Oil or Natural Gas) and some Currency Futures.

Section: Why should we roll over? The real risk: low volume contracts
− 📉 Why should we rollover?
− The Real Risk: Low Volume Contracts
− As a futures contract approaches expiration, trading activity gradually shifts to the next contract month listed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
− This means the expiring contract begins to lose:
− - Trading volume 📉
− - Open interest 📉
− - Order book depth 📉
− Front Month vs. Back Months
− - Front Month: This is the contract with the closest expiration date that still has the highest trading volume and open interest. It is the most "active" contract where most trading occurs. ✅
− - Back Months: These are contracts that expire further in the future. While they exist in the order book, they typically have very low volume and thin liquidity. ❌
− Why it matters
− Traders should almost always trade the Front Month. Trading a Back Month by mistake causes Inconsistent Chart Behavior, Slippage Risk and has the chance to blow up your account rapidly.
− If you continue trading a low-volume contract, you face several risks.
− 🚫 Risks of Trading Low-Volume Contracts
−
Risk FactorImpact on Trading
− Wider Spreads | ↔️ Very Large bid-ask spreads; Immediately putting you in big drawdown when entering.
− Slippage Risk | 📉 Market orders fill at worse prices; poor stop-loss execution with huge slippage risk.
− Thin Order Books | ⚡ Small trades cause sharp price jumps; unstable behavior; technical levels don't react cleanly.
− Unreliable Price Action | 📊 Irregular price movements and gaps not present in the active contract.
− ⚠️ Important: Responsibility of the trader
− Top One Futures is not responsible for losses exceeding normal risk parameters caused by trading low-volume or close-to-expired contracts.
− 👤 Trader Responsibility
− It is the trader's sole responsibility to ensure they are trading the correct, active contract. Trading "thin" or close-to-expired contracts leads to:
− - 📉 Severe Slippage: Market orders and stop losses may fill at much worse prices.
− - ⚡Extreme Volatility: Small trades can cause massive, erratic price jumps.
− 🚨 How to Check Which Contract We Are Trading
− To make sure you are trading the correct futures contract, always confirm where the liquidity currently is or use a rollover calender.
− 🔎 Check Volume on the CME Website
− The most reliable source is the Chicago Mercantile Exchange website.
− On the product page (for example, Gold futures), you can:

Section: Check volume on the CME website
− 👉 The contract with the highest volume is typically the active contract.

− 💡 Important
− The examples below is provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as confirmation of the current active contract. Always verify which contract is currently active before trading.
− This article was written on February 25, 2026. On that date, the active contract for Micro Gold (MGC) is the April 2026 contract. As you can see APR 2026 has the highest volume by far and traders should trade on this contract. April = J, 2026 = 6, so the right contract -> MGCJ6

+ Why KYC identity verification is required for funded accounts, what to prepare, and how to complete it in your dashboard in a few minutes.
+ Updated today
+ Table of contents
+ KYC (Know Your Customer) is the identity verification process every trader must complete before moving forward with a funded account. It only takes a few minutes, and you only ever have to do it once. This article explains why it matters and how to complete it.
+ Why is KYC important?
Identity verification protects both you and our trading community. It confirms that every funded account belongs to a real, verified person, which keeps the platform fair, prevents fraud and duplicate accounts, and allows us to send payouts securely to the right person.
It is also a requirement, not an optional step. You must complete your KYC verification in order to:
Section: Why is KYC important?
− - Sign your funded account contract. Contracts cannot be signed until your identity is verified.
− - Trade your funded account. Trading stays disabled until both your KYC and your contract are completed.
− - Receive payouts. Payout requests cannot be processed on an unverified account.
− In short, without KYC your funded account cannot be activated, traded, or paid out.

A couple of things that will save you time and prevent your verification from being declined:
- Check that your account information matches your government issued ID. Your name and details in your dashboard must match your ID exactly. Please review this carefully, because you will not be able to change this information afterwards.
- Have your physical ID ready. You can use your ID card, driving licence, or another government issued card. It must be the physical document. Copies, screenshots, or photos of a photo will be declined.

Section: 🔥 Ignite Accounts: 15% Consistency Rule
− The 15% Consistency Rule is a key performance metric we use to ensure our funded traders are earning profits through a stable and consistent strategy, rather than from a single "lucky" or high-risk trading day.
− We are looking to partner with traders who can demonstrate steady, long-term profitability. This rule is designed to reward that skill.
− Specifically, this rule applies to new Ignite accounts opened under the updated terms. Existing accounts that use the ESS rule remain unchanged and cannot transition to this new rule.
− The Rule & How It's Calculated
− The rule is simple: Your single best trading day's profit cannot account for more than 15% of your total accumulated profit.
− At the moment you request a payout, we use the following formula to check your score:
− Your Consistency Score = (Best Day's Profit ÷ Total Profit) x 100
− To be eligible for a payout, your Consistency Score must be 15% or less.
− Payout Eligibility Examples
− Let's assume you are on an account with a $3,000 profit target.
− Scenario 1: PASS
− - You reach a Total Profit of $3,000.
− - You check your trading log, and your Best Day's Profit was $400.
− - Calculation: ($400 ÷ $3,000) * 100 = 13.3%
− - Result: ✅ PASS. Your score of 13.3% is below the 15% limit, and you are eligible for a payout (assuming all other rules are met).
− Scenario 2: FAIL
− - You reach a Total Profit of $3,000.
− - You check your trading log, and your Best Day's Profit was $2,000.
− - Calculation: ($2,000 ÷ $3,000) * 100 = 66.7%
− - Result: ❌ FAIL. Your score of 66.7% is much higher than the 15% limit. Your payout request will be denied until your score is fixed.
− "I Failed! How Do I Fix My High Score?
− If your score is too high, you don't need to panic or reset your account. The solution is simply to continue trading profitably to increase your "Total Profit" denominator.
− Your one big day has set a new, higher profit target for you. To find your new target, use this formula:
− Your New Target Profit = (Your Best Day's Profit ÷ 0.15)
− Using Scenario 2 as our example:
− - Your Best Day's Profit: $2,000
− - New Target Calculation: $2,000 ÷ 0.15 = $13,333.33
− This means you must now grow your account's Total Profit to $13,333.33 to bring your score down to 15%. (This is, of course, assuming you do not have another, even larger winning day while working toward this new target).
− Key Things to Remember
− It's a Payout Rule: This rule does not cause a breach. It is only checked when you request a withdrawal.
− - It Encourages Longevity: The best way to pass is to aim for smaller, consistent daily wins rather than trying to hit your entire target in one or two days.
− - It Resets: The Consistency Score calculation resets to zero after every successful payout.

+ 2. Fail | $3,000 | $2,000 | 66.7% | Fail: far above the 15% limit, the payout request is denied until the score is fixed
+ Failed? How to fix a high score
+ You do not need to panic or reset your account. The solution is to continue trading profitably to increase your total profit. Your one big day has set a new, higher profit target for you:
+ New target profit = Best day’s profit ÷ 0.15. Using scenario 2: $2,000 ÷ 0.15 = $13,333.33. You must grow your total profit to $13,333.33 to bring your score down to 15% (assuming you do not have another, even larger winning day on the way).
+ Good to know
+ - It is a payout rule. This rule does not cause a breach. It is only checked when you request a withdrawal.
+ - It encourages longevity. The best way to pass is to aim for smaller, consistent daily wins rather than hitting your entire target in one or two days.
+ - It resets. The consistency score calculation resets to zero after every successful payout.
+ Your best day may never be more than 15% of your total profit at the moment you request a payout. If it is, keep trading until the total catches up: new target = best day ÷ 0.15.

Section: 🔥 Ignite Accounts : Payout Requirements
− This account is designed to reward consistent, profitable traders. To be eligible to request a payout, you must meet three key requirements.
− Here is a simple breakdown of each rule:
− 1. 5% Profit Target
− You must reach a 5% profit target to be eligible for each payout. How this target is calculated changes slightly after your first withdrawal.
− For Your First Payout: The target is 5% of your initial account balance.
− - Example (50k Account):
− - Initial Balance: $50,000
− - 5% Profit Target: $2,500
− - Target Balance for Payout: $52,500
− For Subsequent Payouts: The target is 5% on top of your new balance after your previous payout is deducted.
− - Example (Continuing from above):
− - You reach $52,500 and request a $1,000 payout.
− - Your new post-payout balance is: $51,500
− - Your new 5% profit target is calculated from this balance: ($51,500 * 0.05) = $2,575
− - Target Balance for 2nd Payout: $51,500 + $2,575 = $54,075

+ 1. The 5% profit target
+ You must reach a 5% profit target to be eligible for each payout. How the target is calculated changes slightly after your first withdrawal.
+ - First payout: the target is 5% of your initial account balance. Example ($50,000 account): 5% is $2,500, so the target balance for your first payout is $52,500.
+ - Subsequent payouts: the target is 5% on top of your new balance after your previous payout is deducted. Example: you reach $52,500 and request a $1,000 payout, so your new balance is $51,500. Your next target is 5% of $51,500 = $2,575, so the target balance for your second payout is $54,075.
The minimum payout is $250 on all account sizes and payout cycles.
Section: 2. The 15% consistency rule
− 2. 15% Consistency Rule
− This is the most important rule for managing your risk. It ensures that your profits are earned steadily, rather than from a single lucky day.
− The Rule: Your single best trading day's profit cannot account for more than 15% of your total accumulated profit at the time of your payout request.
− The Formula: (Best Day's Profit / Total Profit) * 100 = Your Consistency Score
− Example 1: (PASS)
− - You reach a total profit of $2,500.
− - Your single best day was $300.
− - Calculation: ($300 ÷ $2,500) * 100 = 12%
− - Result: You PASS (12% is less than 15%).
− Example 2: (FAIL)
− - You reach a total profit of $2,500.
− - Your single best day was $1,000.
− - Calculation: ($1,000 ÷ $2,500) * 100 = 40%
− - Result: You FAIL (40% is greater than 15%).
− "I failed... how do I fix my score?"
− If your best day is too high, you must "fix" your score by accumulating more profits. You need to make that best day equal 15% of a new, larger total profit.
− - Using Example 2:
− - Your best day is $1,000.
− - To find the profit target you need: $1,000 ÷ 0.15 = $6,667
− - You must grow your total profit to $6,667 (without having another day better than $1,000) to meet the 15% rule.
+ 2. The 15% consistency rule
+ This is the most important rule for managing your risk. It ensures your profits are earned steadily, rather than from a single lucky day. Your single best trading day cannot account for more than 15% of your total accumulated profit at the time of your payout request.
+ Formula: Consistency score = (Best day’s profit ÷ Total profit) × 100.
+
ExampleTotal profitBest dayScoreResult
Pass$2,500$30012%Pass (below 15%)Fail$2,500$1,00040%Fail (above 15%)
+ Failed? How to fix your score: accumulate more profit so that your best day equals 15% of a new, larger total. Using the fail example: $1,000 ÷ 0.15 = $6,667. You must grow your total profit to $6,667 (without having another day better than $1,000) to meet the 15% rule. See the 15% Consistency Rule article for more detail.
+ 3. Payout amounts
+ - Each payout is capped at $500 ($25K), $1,000 ($50K), $1,500 ($100K) or $2,000 ($150K).
+ - You keep 90% of the payout amount; 10% stays with the firm.
+ - You can request a payout as soon as you reach the profit target with the consistency rule met. There is no minimum number of trading days.
+ Checklist before you request a payout: 5% profit since your last payout (or since the start), best day at most 15% of total profit, and a request between $250 and your account’s cap.

Section: Elite ACCESS Intraday - Daily Progression Rule (50%)
− Elite ACCESS Intraday – Daily Progression Rule (50%)
− The Daily Progression Rule ensures that payouts are based on consistent, ongoing performance rather than profits generated strictly from a single earlier trading period.
− This rule applies only to funded accounts and is checked at the moment of each payout request.
− How the Rule Works
− For every payout request after your initial withdrawal:
− - At least 50% of the requested payout amount must come from profits generated since your last payout.
− First Payout vs. Subsequent Payouts
− First Payout
− - The 50% progression rule does not apply to your first payout.
− - You may withdraw any valid profits once all standard payout requirements (buffer + $500 threshold, 5 profitable days, and 40% consistency rule) are met.
− Subsequent Payouts (Second Payout Onward)
− - A minimum of 50% of the requested amount must come from new profits.
− - Only profits generated after your last approved payout are considered "new" profits.
− Example Scenario
− - First Payout: You receive a $2,000 payout.
− - Account Balance Progress: After the payout, your account continues trading, and you decide to request a second $2,000 payout.
− - Requirement:
− - At least $1,000 (50%) of the new payout request must be from profits generated after your first payout was processed.
− - The remaining $1,000 can come from existing profits sitting above your buffer threshold.
− Important Notes
− - Funded Phase Only: Applies strictly to funded Elite ACCESS Intraday accounts.
− - Risk Parameters: While working toward your next payout, your account remains subject to the Intraday Trailing Drawdown and Daily Loss Limit (DLL) rules.
− - Payout Counter Reset: With each processed payout, the count for new profits, consistency rule and the 5-day profitable trading counter reset for the next cycle.
− Summary
− - First Payout: Excluded from the progression rule.
− - Subsequent Payouts: At least 50% of the requested withdrawal amount must be derived from new profits made after your previous payout.

+ Elite ACCESS Intraday - Daily Progression Rule (50%)
+ At least 50% of every payout request after the first on a funded Elite ACCESS Intraday account must come from profits made since your last payout.
+ Updated today
+ Table of contents
+ The Daily Progression Rule ensures that payouts are based on consistent, ongoing performance, rather than profits generated in a single earlier trading period. It applies only to funded accounts and is checked at the moment of each payout request.
+ How the rule works
+ For every payout request after your initial withdrawal, at least 50% of the requested payout amount must come from profits generated since your last payout.
+ Payout | Rule
+ First payout | The 50% rule does not apply. You may withdraw any valid profits once the standard payout requirements are met (buffer + $500, 5 profitable days, 40% consistency rule).
+ Second payout onward | A minimum of 50% of the requested amount must come from new profits made after your previous payout.
+ Example
+ - First payout: $2,000. After the payout, the account continues trading.
+ - You request a second $2,000 payout.
+ - Requirement: at least $1,000 (50%) must come from profits generated after your first payout. The remaining $1,000 can come from existing profits above your buffer threshold.
+ Good to know
+ - Applies strictly to funded Elite ACCESS Intraday accounts.
+ - While working toward your next payout, your account remains subject to the Intraday Trailing Drawdown and the Daily Loss Limit.
+ - With each processed payout, the new-profit count, the consistency rule and the 5 profitable day counter all reset for the next cycle.
+ First payout: excluded from the rule. Every payout after that: at least 50% of the requested amount must be new profit made after your previous payout.
