Rule Radar

Futures Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.

Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.

We track the published rules and policies of 32 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.

Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.

Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.

Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

Finding the right path to funding depends on your trading style, risk tolerance, and how quickly you want to access a funded environment. Below is a detailed breakdown of the four account models offered by Top One Futures: Elite, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim Pro, and Ignite.
Elite | Ideal if you want the highest consistency requirement (25%) and a lower entry cost through an evaluation path. It is the most cost-effective way to secure a funded account where you will have EOD trailing drawdown and high payout caps
Instant | Perfect for skipping the evaluation phase and working toward payouts immediately along with EOD trailing drawdown and high payout caps. It is our most popular account type and the perfect choice for traders who want an Instant Funded account with the necessary breathing room to manage positions without pressure
Section: Key takeaways for choosing your account
− Ignite | While payout caps are lower per account, they are one of the cheapest Instant Funding accounts you can find in the industry and the ability to manage up to 6 accounts simultaneously makes it the top choice for high-volume scaling. It is also ideal for traders that do not want to worry about saving for a live account buffer: the caps naturally keep enough profit in your account so that you are fully prepared for your transition to a Live Account
S2F Sim Pro | The best fit for professional traders comfortable with intraday drawdown and a structured 10-day payout requirement. It has a much lower cost than Instant Sim Funded accounts, but still includes the high payout caps. This account is designed for disciplined traders seeking low-cost instant funding, specifically those who have a goal of steady daily growth and strict risk management in place

− Updated this week

− At Top One Futures, safeguarding the integrity of our trading platform is a top priority. To maintain a secure and fair environment for all traders, we actively monitor IP address activity across all accounts. This article explains what is allowed and what is not.
In short
Allowed | Not allowed
Trading from different devices (mobile, desktop) | Using multiple IPs on the same account frequently
Section: In short
− Traveling and trading (will require verification) | Trading multiple accounts from the same IP
− | Using a VPN or VPS (strictly prohibited)
When is proof of travel required?
If you relocate or trade from a different country, we will ask for additional verification to ensure account security. Always use a stable and consistent IP to avoid issues.
Copying trades across different accounts | Identical trades placed across multiple accounts under different ownership will be flagged
Hedging across multiple accounts | Any form of hedging across multiple accounts, including accounts from other prop firms or brokers, is strictly prohibited
− Using a VPN or VPS | Accessing your account through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Private Server (VPS) is strictly prohibited
Recommendations for secure trading
Section: Recommendations for secure trading
− We highly recommend that traders use a single device with a unique IP address for their trading activities to avoid any security concerns.
While we understand that you may trade from different devices (such as mobile or desktop) or while traveling, this may result in multiple IP addresses being associated with your account. This is generally acceptable, but in cases where you travel or relocate to another country, we may request additional verification documents for security purposes.
Section: Clarification on VPS usage
− VPNs and VPS are not permitted
− The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) is strictly prohibited. Both services mask or change the location your account is accessed from, which interferes with our location-based security checks and makes it impossible to reliably verify who is trading the account. Any access through a VPN or VPS may be treated as a location violation and can lead to account suspension or a breach.
− To avoid any issues, always trade from a stable and consistent internet connection, and notify us of any planned changes in your trading environment, particularly if you are traveling or relocating.
Violations
Any serious violations of this IP policy will result in a breach of your account and forfeiture of any profits. We are committed to ensuring a safe and secure trading environment and use sophisticated fraud detection technology to monitor activity. We also maintain a global IP blacklist of fraudulent users and take action against anyone using third-party services like "pass your Evaluation" or account management companies. Violators will be blacklisted and may face legal action.

+ At Top One Futures, we permit the use of Virtual Private Servers (VPS) with static IP addresses for trading purposes. VPS usage is often preferred by professional traders as it provides stability and faster execution times. If you choose to use a VPS, please ensure it has a static IP address and notify us in advance to avoid any issues. To enable VPS usage for your trading account, please provide the following information:
+ Requirement | Detail
+ IP address of the VPS | This must be a static IP
+ VPS service invoice | The invoice should include the VPS's IP address to verify that it is a legitimate service
+ IP registration | Ensure the VPS IP address is shared and registered with our team to avoid connection issues such as internal server errors when using specific platform features
+ Important note on VPNs
+ The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) is not advised. VPNs allow users to switch locations, which can lead to false positives in our location-based security checks, resulting in potential account breaches. For this reason, using a VPN may trigger location violations and lead to account suspension or breaches. + At Top One Futures, safeguarding the integrity of our trading platform is a top priority.
+ Traveling and trading (will require verification) | Trading multiple accounts from the same IP
+ | Using a VPN or VPS (strictly prohibited)
When is proof of travel required?
If you relocate or trade from a different country, we will ask for additional verification to ensure account security. Always use a stable and consistent IP to avoid issues.
Copying trades across different accounts | Identical trades placed across multiple accounts under different ownership will be flagged
Hedging across multiple accounts | Any form of hedging across multiple accounts, including accounts from other prop firms or brokers, is strictly prohibited
Section: IP address violations
+ Using a VPN or VPS | Accessing your account through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Private Server (VPS) is strictly prohibited
Recommendations for secure trading
Section: Recommendations for secure trading
+ We highly recommend that traders use a single device with a unique IP address for their trading activities to avoid any security concerns.
While we understand that you may trade from different devices (such as mobile or desktop) or while traveling, this may result in multiple IP addresses being associated with your account. This is generally acceptable, but in cases where you travel or relocate to another country, we may request additional verification documents for security purposes.
Section: VPNs and VPS are not permitted
+ VPNs and VPS are not permitted
+ The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) is strictly prohibited. Both services mask or change the location your account is accessed from, which interferes with our location-based security checks and makes it impossible to reliably verify who is trading the account. Any access through a VPN or VPS may be treated as a location violation and can lead to account suspension or a breach.
+ To avoid any issues, always trade from a stable and consistent internet connection, and notify us of any planned changes in your trading environment, particularly if you are traveling or relocating.
