Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.
We track the published rules and policies of 32 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.
Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.
Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.
Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)
We split that step out and call it the Buffer Zone. It is where you build the balance that carries into your Sim Funded account, and it is deliberately gentler than the evaluation you just passed: a smaller target and no daily loss limit.
Account size | Profit target | Drawdown | Consistency | Largest single day
And if you fail it, you reset the Buffer Zone on its own. Your evaluation still stands — you never go back to the beginning. Resets are $250 each for the first three, then $300 for resets four to six, $350 for seven to nine, and so on. If your Buffer Zone had already passed into Sim Funded, a reset is $500. These are the Propel Buffer Zone reset prices.
Phase 3 — Sim Funded
Your account is still simulated, but the profits are real and you can withdraw them. There is no profit target here — the job is to keep trading well.
Payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, on any balance above your starting balance. Requests made before 11am ET are processed the same trading day. While Sim Funded, stop trading for the day once you are $5,000 up and for the week once you are $10,000 up — passing $10,000 in total profit triggers a review for Live Brokerage, where the caps come off entirely.
Nothing is charged during this phase. Your subscription ended at the evaluation.
How the consistency rule works
The consistency rule keeps your biggest day in proportion to the rest of your trading. We compare your largest single profitable day against the sum of your profitable days. Losing days are left out of the calculation entirely — many firms divide by your net profit instead, which shrinks the number you are measured against and makes the rule harder to satisfy.
Here is a week counted both ways. Say you made $1,000 on Monday, $900 on Tuesday, lost $600 on Wednesday, then made $900 on Thursday and $600 on Friday:
- At BluSky we add up your profitable days: $1,000 + $900 + $900 + $600 = $3,400. Your biggest day of $1,000 is 29.4% of that — inside the 34% rule. ✅
- Counting net profit instead subtracts the losing day: $3,400 − $600 = $2,800. The same $1,000 day is now 35.7% — outside the same rule. ❌
The 300K works to a 21% rule instead, so the same week would need your profit spread across more days to comply.
Being out of consistency does not fail your account. It is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and you fix it by trading on — every additional profitable day grows the total you are measured against and brings your percentage down.
Resetting a Propel evaluation
Most traders do not pass first time. A reset clears the days traded, the balance and the rules by creating a fresh evaluation account, so you can try again without buying a new plan.

Both options share the same risk logic. Option 1 uses the trailing drawdown. Option 2 uses the end-of-day drawdown together with a daily loss limit and has no scaling plan.
On both options the drawdown follows the balance upward and then stops for good once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. From that point it is a fixed floor and no longer moves.
On Option 2 the daily loss limit stays active for the whole life of the account and is never lifted. The $25,000 Option 2 account is the exception: it has no daily loss limit.

Understanding Market Volatility
Historic volatility means historic losses can happen faster than normal. When markets move unpredictably:
- Slippage increases
- Risk management becomes more challenging
- Even well-planned trades can move against you quickly
These temporary adjustments give you the opportunity to participate in volatile markets while managing your risk appropriately.

Payout 1 | $6,000 (starting from $0) | ✅ No profit requirement on first Payout
Take $3,000 Payout | New balance: $3,000 | —
Payout 2 | $4,000 (up from $3,000) | ✅ Profitable since last Payout
Take $1,800 Payout | New balance: $2,200 | —
Payout 3 | $4,500 (up from $2,200) | ✅ Profitable since last Payout
Take $2,000 Payout | New balance: $2,500 | —
Payout 4 | $1,800 (down from $2,500) | ❌ Not profitable — keep trading
Express Funded Account Consistency
To request a Payout, you must meet both requirements:
- 3 trading days with at least 1 trade per day.
Section: Express Funded Account Consistency
− - Stay at or below the 40% consistency target. Your largest single day cannot exceed 40% of your total net profit. Days lock in at 4:00 PM CT. The trading day your Payout is requested doesn't count toward your next 3.
After each Payout: Your Maximum Loss Limit resets to $0 permanently, your consistency calculation resets, and your 3-day count restarts.
Live Funded Account
- 5 winning days of $150+ Net P&L per Payout cycle (not consecutive)
- Request up to 50% of your account balance with no dollar cap
- After you request a Payout, your winning day count restarts. You'll need 5 new winning days before you're eligible to request your next Payout.
Daily Payouts (after 30 winning days in the LFA):
Once you've earned $150+ Net P&L on 30 non-consecutive days in your Live Funded Account, you unlock daily Payouts — request as much of your unlocked balance as you want, once per day (min $125). Winning days from the XFA do not count toward this total.
Note: Requesting a full 100% Payout closes your LFA since the balance reaches the Maximum Loss Limit.
Payout Methods
Method | Availability | Processing Time | Fee
Prop-to-Brokerage Payouts | US only | Same day* | No Fee
Aeropay | US banks only | Instant after approval | No Topstep fee**
Yes. Your account can move up or down as you trade and take Payouts. You just need to be profitable ($.01 or more) since your last Payout before you can request the next one.
I hit the Daily Loss Limit, can I still request a Payout?
Yes — but not yet. Hitting the Daily Loss Limit puts your account in a Temporary Violation. It lifts at the start of the next trading session. Once it clears, you can request a Payout as long as you've met the Payout Policy requirements. The same goes for any personal Lock-outs you've set in Risk Settings.
How does trading impact my Payout request while it is being processed?
Once you request a Payout, the funds are transferred immediately, allowing you to start trading again right away. However, please keep in mind the Payout processing times to determine which trading day will not count toward winning day objectives.
Live Accounts: Please note that after submitting a Payout request, trading should be paused until the Payout has been fully processed and the funds have been deducted from the account.
Will I still get my Payout if I hit the MLL after requesting?
Yes. Once the Payout amount has been deducted from your balance, hitting the MLL won't affect it.
What happens to copy trading during a Payout?
Your copy-trading connection is automatically disabled while a Payout processes. Once the deduction is complete and your balance updates, you must manually re-enable it.
How do Payouts work across multiple XFAs?
Each XFA follows its own Payout Policy independently. Requests from one account don't affect another.
Section: Does profit from the previous cycle carry over?
When should I start taking Payouts?
We recommend reaching a balance where your MLL is at $0 first. This gives your account a healthier base. MLL levels by account size:
Account Size | Maximum Loss Limit
$50K | $2,000
$100K | $3,000
$150K | $4,500
Please note: the trading day your Payout is requested will not count toward your winning days for the next Payout cycle. The trading day runs from 5:00 PM CT to 3:10 PM CT the following day. A request submitted after 5:00 PM CT belongs to the next trading day — that day becomes the Payout request day and is excluded from the new cycle. This applies to all account types.
Example: A Payout request submitted at 5:59 PM CT on Monday belongs to the Tuesday trading session. Tuesday is the Payout request day and does not count. The new cycle begins on Wednesday.

Section: Rewards Center: Levels, XP, Missions, and TradePacks
− Updated over 3 weeks ago
Table of contents
The Rewards Center is Tradeify's rewards program. Trading, journaling, passing evaluations, taking payouts, and taking part in the community earn you two things: XP, which raises your level and your leaderboard rank, and Gems, which you spend in the Shop to open TradePacks and win prizes such as discount codes, evaluation credits, and account resets.
In short:
- Missions pay XP, which raises your level and leaderboard rank and is never spent, and Gems, which you spend.
- Gems buy TradePacks in the Shop. Every pack you open awards one random prize card.
- Prizes land in your Vault as codes you redeem at checkout on the Tradeify site.
- Your first pack is effectively free: setting your leaderboard name pays 2,000 Gems, exactly the price of a Paper Pack.
- Gems, XP, and prizes belong to your Tradeify user account, not to any single trading account, and they do not expire.
The sidebar link reads Rewards Center and the page header reads Rewards Center. Both names refer to the same page.
⚠️ Before you start
- Gems have no cash value. Gems cannot be bought, sold, given to another trader, or withdrawn. They exist only to open TradePacks inside the Rewards Center.
- TradePacks are a game of chance. Odds are published for every pack, each open is independent, there is no pity timer and no guaranteed prize after a number of opens, and a pack open cannot be reversed or refunded.
When missions credit

- Instant. Profile, leaderboard name, Discord connect, social follows, the daily journal note, and sharing your trader card. The card reads "Credited the moment you complete it."
- Within a few minutes. The Discord activity mission, counted by the community bot.
- After the trading day closes. In the Game is counted from your daily trade summary once the trading day closes, usually by 23:45 UTC. Green Print and Win Streak need the day's P&L to be final, so they count after midnight UTC, usually by 00:15 UTC. If you close a trade at lunchtime and check the mission an hour later, it has not been counted yet.
- Within about half an hour. Milestone events — evaluation passes, approved payouts, Live promotions, a 150K funding — credit within an hour of the event reaching your account data, usually about 30 minutes.
- After a manual check. The social sharing mission pays from a link to your post and is verified by the team before it credits.
- Settled at the end of the month. The monthly missions (Top 100, Top 10, King of the Hill, Hold the Line) are decided from the final standings once the month closes in UTC, and settle usually within 15 minutes of the close — in practice, right at the start of the first day of the new month. They show as pending all month until then.
Rewards earned during end-of-day reconciliation: Tradeify's reconciliation process runs roughly 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET. A reward that lands in that window can take up to an hour to become claimable. Nothing is lost — wait an hour and check again.
Claiming your rewards
Some missions credit the reward straight into your balance. Others hold it until you press Claim on the mission card. Anything waiting to be claimed also appears in the dropdown under the level and Gems pill in the dashboard header.
Unclaimed rewards are never lost. They stay there until you claim them.

+ Not every pull is going to fit your account — you can land a free reset for an account type you don’t hold, or a prize that just isn’t useful to you. When that happens, you don’t have to keep it. You can sell it back for a partial Gems refund.
+ You have 24 hours from the moment you open the pack to sell that prize. The sell option sits right on the card in your Vault and disappears once the 24 hour window closes.
+ Selling returns 60% of the Gems you spent on the pack that awarded it. The refund is based on the pack’s cost, not an individual value assigned to the prize itself.
+ After 24 hours, the sell option is gone. The prize is yours to keep or redeem whenever you like — unredeemed prizes don’t expire, so there’s no rush if you’d rather hold onto it instead of selling.
+ Example: you pull a free reset for an account type you don’t currently hold. You can leave it sitting in your Vault for whenever you do hold that account type, since it never expires, or sell it back within the 24 hour window for 60% of the Gems that pack cost you.

PremierApex Trader Funding · https://apextraderfunding.com/help-center/intraday-trailing-drawdown-accounts/intraday-trailing-drawdown-explainedupdatedFuturesIntraday Threshold behavior description changed from stopping at Target Profit balance to stopping from increasing at Target Profit balance.Oct 13
If unrealized profit raises the balance to $50,900, a new Peak Balance is established. The new threshold becomes:
$50,900 − $2,000 = $48,900
The threshold adjusts immediately. No closing trade is required.
If the balance later declines to $50,200, the threshold remains $48,900. It does not move downward.
If the trade closes at $50,300, the Peak Balance remains $50,900 and the threshold remains $48,900.
Intraday Threshold Stops Trailing
Performance Accounts
Once the Intraday Threshold reaches Starting Balance + $100, it stops increasing.
Example for a 50K Intraday PA:
Threshold Stop Level = $50,100.
This occurs when the highest balance, whether realized or unrealized, reaches $52,100 (Starting Balance + Max Drawdown + $100). From that point onward, the Intraday Threshold remains fixed at $50,100.
Evaluations Rithmic and Wealthcharts
Section: Intraday Threshold Stops Trailing
− Intraday Threshold stops trailing and becomes fixed when it reaches an amount equal to the Target Profit balance.
Example for a 50K Rithmic and Wealthcharts Intraday Evaluation account:
Threshold Stop Level = $53.000.
This occurs when the highest balance, whether realized or unrealized, reaches $55,000 (Profit Target Balance + Max Drawdown). From that point onward, the Intraday Threshold remains fixed at $53,000.
Evaluations Tradovate
Intraday Drawdown trails indefinitely with the peak account balance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I fail if I reach the Intraday Trailing Threshold?
Yes. If your account balance touches or falls below the Intraday Drawdown at any time, all open positions are automatically liquidated.
In an Evaluation, the account fails immediately.
In a Performance Account, the account closes immediately.
Does unrealized profit move the Trailing Threshold?
Yes. The Peak Balance includes both realized and unrealized gains. If an open trade pushes your account to a new high, the Trailing Threshold adjusts upward immediately even if the position is not closed.
