Rule Radar
Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.
Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.
We track the published rules and policies of 29 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.
Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.
Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.
Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

Minimum Winning Days To become eligible for a payout on Reserve account, traders must complete at least 5 winning days. Each winning day must meet the minimum profit threshold based on account size: · · · - $150,000: $250 Winning days do not need to be consecutive. The winning day counter resets after each approved payout. - Buffer Balance (Payout Threshold) - On Reserve Accounts, there is no profit buffer requirement. - Traders can withdraw 50% of their profits, subject to the account’s payout cap, once the minimum winning day requirements have been met. - This gives traders greater flexibility, allowing payouts as soon as they meet the required conditions. + Reserve Payout Eligibility – Net Profit Requirement + Reserve Accounts purchased before July 27, 2026 will remain under their original payout rules for the life of the account. + For Reserve Accounts purchased on or after July 27, 2026, the following requirements apply for payouts 2–5: + - Complete 5 winning days at the minimum required amount. + - Reach the required net profit since the last approved payout. + Account Size | Winning Day Minimum | Net Profit Required | Payout Cap + $25,000 | $100 | $500 | $1,000 + $50,000 | $150 | $750 | $2,000 + $100,000 | $200 | $1,000 | $2,500 + $150,000 | $250 | $1,250 | $3,000 + How is Net Profit Calculated? + Net profit includes all profits and losses since the last approved payout. + For example, on a $50,000 account, if you make $900 in profit but have $150 in losses, your net profit is $750 ($900 - $150 = $750), which meets the $750 net-profit requirement. If your net profit is below $750, you must continue trading until the required amount is reached. + A trader with a $50,000 Reserve Account completes 5 winning days and makes $900 in profit but also has a $300 losing day during the same payout cycle, making their net profit $600 ($900 - $300 = $600). Since this is below the required $750 net profit, the trader must continue trading until their net profit reaches at least $750. + Does This Change the Payout Amount? + No. The payout calculation remains the same. Traders may request up to 50% of their total accumulated profit, subject to their account’s payout cap. + The net-profit requirement is only used to determine payout eligibility. + After a Payout + Once a payout is approved, both the 5 winning-day count and net-profit requirement reset for the next payout cycle. Net profit includes all profits and losses since the last approved payout. For example, on a $50,000 account, if you make $900 in profit but have $150 in losses, your net profit is $750 ($900 - $150 = $750), which meets the $750 net-profit requirement. If your net profit is below $750, you must continue trading until the required amount is reached. A trader with a $50,000 Reserve Account completes 5 winning days and makes $900 in profit but also has a $300 losing day during the same payout cycle, making their net profit $600 ($900 - $300 = $600). Since this is below the required $750 net profit, the trader must continue trading until their net profit reaches at least $750. Does This Change the Payout Amount? No. The payout calculation remains the same. Traders may request up to 50% of their total accumulated profit, subject to their account’s payout cap. The net-profit requirement is only used to determine payout eligibility. Based on the number of qualifying sim accounts, traders will receive another live account each time the previously granted live account reaches a total of 5% in end of day profits. Example: - When a $50K live account achieves at least 5% in profits ($2,500), Trader will be granted their 2nd $50K live account. - When the trader achieves at least 5% in profits ($2,500) on their 2nd live $50K account, Trader will be granted their 3rd $50K live account. Live Payout Policy - No Payout Caps - Unlimited Withdrawals - No Consistency Rule - No Daily Loss Limit - Daily Payouts: Payouts are available every 24-hours after the previous payout is approved. (Minimum payout = $200) - Profit Split: When a trader is moved to a live account, their profit split will go from 90/10 to 80/20 - Withdraw-able profits are profits created in excess of your starting balance. Questions
What is Rule Radar?
Rule Radar is our daily record of rule and policy changes across 29 futures prop firms. When a firm edits a rule, adds a page, or deletes one, the change shows up here with the exact lines that changed.
How often does it update?
Daily. New changes land by early morning US time, so check it like a morning paper.
Where does the data come from?
Straight from each firm’s own published pages. We keep every version and compare them line by line, so nothing here is secondhand.
What does a starred change mean?
A starred change is one we think actually matters, like payout terms, rule tightening, or pricing. Most edits are typos and clarifications, and those stay in the full feed above.
