Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.

Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.

We track the published rules and policies of 29 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.

Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.

Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.

Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

+ If you pass multiple straight-to-live evaluations, one will be activated at a time until the drawdown has been locked or the account is blown.
+ Example:
+ A trader passes 5 Core S2L accounts. On day 1, the trader logs in and will see all 5 accounts assigned to them. Only the first account will be available for trading.
+ To unlock the remaining accounts, the first active account must lock the drawdown or the account must be blown. This will be repeated until the trader has activated all 5 S2L accounts.
+ Nothing needs to be done to unlock the next account. A risk manager will unlock the account during business hours. If you think you are eligible to unlock the next account and it has not yet been unlocked, please reach out to our support staff.

No. The consistency percentage is not calculated based on your account size or account balance. It is calculated based on your profits.
- For example, if you have a $100K account, the 40% rule does not mean you are capped at making 40% of the account size ($40,000) in a single day
- It means your best trading day cannot represent more than 40% of the total profits you are trying to withdraw or use for scale-up eligibility.
+ For example, if you have a $100K account, the 50% rule does not mean you are capped at making 50% of the account size ($50,000) in a single day.
+ It means your best trading day cannot represent more than 50% of the total profits you are trying to withdraw or use for scale-up eligibility.
  Quick example
- If your account has a 40% Consistency Rule:
+ If your account has a 50% Consistency Rule:
  - Best trading day: $5,000
- - Required total profit: $12,500
- - Because: $5,000 ÷ 40% = $12,500
- If your total profit is below $12,500, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.
+ - Required total profit: $10,000
+ (Because: $5,000 ÷ 50% = $10,000)
+ If your total profit is below $10,000, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.

- Overview of the Instant Sim Funded Program at Top One Futures
Top One Futures’ Instant Sim Funded Program is designed for traders who want to skip the evaluation phase and start trading immediately with a funded simulation account. This program offers fast access to capital, along with structured risk management rules to promote long-term consistency and success. Here’s a complete breakdown of how it works:
+ 📌 Which rules apply to your account?
+ - Purchased before July 27, 2026? Your account falls under our original parameters. Look for the (purchased before 7/27/2026) sections below.
+ - Purchased on or after July 27, 2026? Your account falls under the updated Instant Sim Funded 2.0 rules. Look for the (purchased on and after 7/27/2026) sections below.
  1. No Evaluation, Instant Access
The Instant Sim Funded Program gives traders immediate access to a sim-funded account—no need to pass a challenge first. You choose your account size and can begin trading right away under real market conditions with built-in risk parameters.
· · ·
  - It trails your highest closed balance but never moves down.
  - If your balance falls below the trailing drawdown level, the account is breached and closed.
- Starting Max Drawdown by Account Size:
+ Instant Sim Funded (purchased before 7/27/2026): Starting Max Drawdown by Account Size:
  - $25,000 → $1,000
  - $50,000 → $2,000
  - $100,000 → $3,000
  - $150,000 → $4,500
+ - Instant Sim Funded 2.0 purchased on and after 7/27/2026): Starting Max Drawdown by Account Size:
+ - $25,000 → $1,000
+ - $50,000 → $2,000
+ - $100,000 → $4,000
+ - $150,000 → $5,250
  3. Drawdown Lock
Once your profits reach the drawdown amount plus $100, your trailing drawdown locks at $100 above your starting balance and no longer follows account growth. This provides more stability and reduces the risk of losing access to the account as you scale.
  Examples:
  - $50K account → Lock occurs at $52,100; drawdown locks at $50,100.
- - $100K account → Lock occurs at $103,100; drawdown locks at $100,100.
- This lock also activates after your first payout, even if you haven’t reached the profit + $100 threshold yet.
- 4. Consistency Rule: To be eligible for a payout, your consistency score must be 20% or lower
+ - $100K account → Lock occurs at $104,100; drawdown locks at $100,100.
+ This lock also activates after your first payout.
+ 4. Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
+ The Daily Loss Limit is set between 2.0% – 2.5% of your initial account balance for legacy accounts. This drawdown parameter helps manage risk and promotes responsible trading habits. Exceeding this limit will result in an account breach.
+ Here is the Daily Loss Limit breakdown by account size:
+ Instant Sim Funded Daily Loss Limit (purchased before 7/27/2026):
+ Account Size | Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
+ $25,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $625
+ $50,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $1,250
+ $100,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $2,500
+ $150,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $3,750
+ Instant Sim Funded 2.0 Daily Loss Limit (purchased on and after 7/27/2026):
+ Account Size | Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
+ $25,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $625
+ $50,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $1,250
+ $100,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $2,500
+ $150,000 Instant Sim Funded Account | $3,000
+ 5. Consistency Rule: To be eligible for a payout, your consistency score must be 20% or lower
To qualify for payouts, your trading must reflect steady, disciplined performance. No single day’s profit may exceed 20% of your total profits.
After a payout is taken from an Instant Sim Funded account, the consistency score is reset, and the consistency rule is then applied to new profits moving forward. This ensures that traders demonstrate steady performance rather than relying on one or two highly volatile trading sessions.
· · ·
This rule encourages balanced trading instead of relying on a single high-risk session.
Please Note: For the purposes of consistency rule calculation, a trading day ends at 5:00pm EST.
- 5. No Contract Scaling Requirements
+ 6. No Contract Scaling Requirements

In order to pass a Standard Evaluation: there are two conditions to be met, the trader must reach (+ maintain) the profit target, and satisfy the 50% consistency rule.
There is only one way to fail on Evaluation Accounts, do not allow the Account Balance to hit or exceed the Maximum Loss Limit.
  Benefits of Standard Account:
- 1.) Largest withdrawal cap in industry of $15,000, per request, per account.
- 2.) Consistent Profit Target to Drawdown Ratios on all account sizes. Other firms tighten drawdown on their 100k+ accounts.
- 3.) No Daily Loss Guard on Evaluations.
- 4.) Trade with more freedom. Most accounts on market have BOTH tough consistency and 5-10 trading day requirements. It only takes 3 trading days to be able to satisfy our 40% consistency rule.
- 5.) No buffer requirements. No "can't withdraw until ____ level" or "must keep $____" in your account, that is up to the user how they would like to manage it.
+ 1.) Double the withdrawal caps of the Zero Account
+ 2.) No Daily Loss Guard on Evaluations.
+ 3.) No Activation Fee
+ 4.) 90% profit split from the start, no tiered system.
+ 5.) Pay yourself up to 4 times per month. Withdraw when you want after 5 winning days of $200 or more, no assigned payout dates.
6.) No "MLL slides to $0 at first withdrawal" rule. Other firms punish you for taking small payouts, not here. If MLL was at $49,200 before payout, it will be after as well.

Questions

What is Rule Radar?

Rule Radar is our daily record of rule and policy changes across 29 futures prop firms. When a firm edits a rule, adds a page, or deletes one, the change shows up here with the exact lines that changed.

How often does it update?

Daily. New changes land by early morning US time, so check it like a morning paper.

Where does the data come from?

Straight from each firm’s own published pages. We keep every version and compare them line by line, so nothing here is secondhand.

What does a starred change mean?

A starred change is one we think actually matters, like payout terms, rule tightening, or pricing. Most edits are typos and clarifications, and those stay in the full feed above.
