Rule Radar

Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.

Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.

We track the published rules and policies of 29 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.

Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.

Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.

Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

+ If you pass multiple straight-to-live evaluations, one will be activated at a time until the drawdown has been locked or the account is blown.
+ Example:
+ A trader passes 5 Core S2L accounts. On day 1, the trader logs in and will see all 5 accounts assigned to them. Only the first account will be available for trading.
+ To unlock the remaining accounts, the first active account must lock the drawdown or the account must be blown. This will be repeated until the trader has activated all 5 S2L accounts.

No. The consistency percentage is not calculated based on your account size or account balance. It is calculated based on your profits.
- For example, if you have a $100K account, the 40% rule does not mean you are capped at making 40% of the account size ($40,000) in a single day
- It means your best trading day cannot represent more than 40% of the total profits you are trying to withdraw or use for scale-up eligibility.

  Quick example
- If your account has a 40% Consistency Rule:
+ If your account has a 50% Consistency Rule:
  - Best trading day: $5,000
- - Required total profit: $12,500
- - Because: $5,000 ÷ 40% = $12,500
- If your total profit is below $12,500, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.
+ - Required total profit: $10,000
+ (Because: $5,000 ÷ 50% = $10,000)
+ If your total profit is below $10,000, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.

The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) is not advised. VPNs allow users to switch locations, which can lead to false positives in our location-based security checks, resulting in potential account breaches. For this reason, using a VPN may trigger location violations and lead to account suspension or breaches. To avoid any issues, always use a stable and consistent IP address, such as through a VPS, and notify us of any planned changes in your trading environment, particularly if you are traveling or using a new VPS.

No. The consistency percentage is not calculated based on your account size or account balance. It is calculated based on your profits.
- For example, if you have a $100K account, the 50% rule does not mean you can only make 50% of the account size in one day.
- It means your best trading day cannot represent more than 50% of the total profits you are trying to withdraw or use for scale-up eligibility.
+ For example, if you have a $100K account, the 40% rule does not mean you can only make 50% of the account size in one day.
+ It means your best trading day cannot represent more than 40% of the total profits you are trying to withdraw or use for scale-up eligibility.
  Quick example
If your account has a 50% Consistency Rule:
  - Best trading day: $5,000
- - Required total profit: $10,000
- - Because: $5,000 ÷ 50% = $10,000
- If your total profit is below $10,000, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.
+ - Required total profit: $12,500
+ - Because: $5,000 ÷ 40% = $12,500
+ If your total profit is below $12,500, you need to continue trading until your total profit reaches the required amount.

  - If one day makes up more than 40%, no payout will be processed until further trading reduces that day’s weight to 40% or less.

+ Payout Eligibility At Time Of Processing
+ Any payout request is subject to the requested funds remaining available in the trading account when the payout is processed. If subsequent trading losses reduce or eliminate those available funds before the payout is issued, the payout amount may be reduced, delayed, or denied accordingly.

Your largest single-day gain should ideally remain within the 40% consistency guideline. This is not a mandatory rule, but rather a helpful benchmark for traders to visualize their consistency. If a single trading day accounts for more than 40% of your total profits, additional trading is required before you become eligible for payout.
Once all conditions are met, your account will be marked as Eligible for Payout, along with the available payout amount.

- Any payout request is subject to the requested funds remaining available in the account at the time the payout is processed. If subsequent trading losses reduce or eliminate those funds before payment is issued, the payout may be reduced, delayed, or denied.

updatedFUnlistedFutures Elite · Minimum trading days must reflect genuine discretionary trading | FuturesElite FAQ2026-07-29 · +11 / -2 lines

- The minimum trading day requirement exists so that a funded account demonstrates real, repeatable trading rather than a single lucky outcome. Making effectively your entire payout on one trade, or one oversized burst, and then placing only token trades to clock the remaining minimum days is a gamification of that requirement and is not accepted. In the same way a challenge may not be passed with one trade carrying more than 90% of the target, a funded payout may not be built almost entirely on a single position with the minimum days padded out afterward.
- We expect the profit on a funded account to come from a genuine discretionary process across your qualifying days. Accounts where nearly all of the profit comes from one trade, followed by minimal or placeholder activity to satisfy the day count, will prompt a review before any payout is released. As part of that review we will look at whether the same pattern has been used across your other simulated funded accounts, and we will reach out to you so you can share context before a final decision is made.
+ Why this rule exists
+ The minimum trading day requirement is designed to confirm that a funded account is the product of a real, repeatable trading process, not a single fortunate outcome. A trader who earns almost their entire payout from one trade, or from one oversized burst of activity, and then places only token trades to fill out the remaining required days has not demonstrated the kind of consistent decision making the funded program is meant to reward.
+ This same principle carries into the funded stage. A payout should reflect profit built across a meaningful number of qualifying days of genuine trading, not one outsized position followed by placeholder activity used only to satisfy a day count.
+ We want to be clear that this rule is not about penalizing a great trade. Traders are allowed to have a standout day. What we are checking for is whether that standout day sits inside a broader pattern of real trading, or whether it is the entire pattern, padded out afterward with trades that carry no meaningful risk or intent.
+ How concentration is measured
+ At the time a payout is requested, we look at what share of the account's total profit came from its single best trade. Accounts across all sizes, 50k, 100k, and 150k, are held to this same standard. There is no fixed cutoff that automatically triggers a review. Instead, our team looks at the overall picture: how the profit is spread across trades, how the account's trading days compare in size and frequency, and whether the pattern looks like ongoing decision making or like one outcome followed by minimal activity meant to fill out the required days. Minimum qualifying trading days remain at 5 for the 50k and 100k tiers and 7 for the 150k tier.
+ Judgment is applied case by case rather than through a single hard number, because concentration alone does not tell the whole story. A trader who has one standout trade in an otherwise normal trading history is treated very differently from a trader whose entire payout rests on one position with nothing else of substance around it.
+ What happens during review
+ If an account is flagged under this rule, here is what a trader can expect:
+ - The payout is paused, not denied, pending review.
+ - We examine whether the same pattern (one dominant trade followed by minimal or token activity) appears on the trader's other simulated funded accounts, since a pattern repeated across accounts is treated differently from an isolated instance.

Questions

What is Rule Radar?

Rule Radar is our daily record of rule and policy changes across 29 futures prop firms. When a firm edits a rule, adds a page, or deletes one, the change shows up here with the exact lines that changed.

How often does it update?

Daily. New changes land by early morning US time, so check it like a morning paper.

Where does the data come from?

Straight from each firm’s own published pages. We keep every version and compare them line by line, so nothing here is secondhand.

What does a starred change mean?

A starred change is one we think actually matters, like payout terms, rule tightening, or pricing. Most edits are typos and clarifications, and those stay in the full feed above.
