Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.
We track the published rules and policies of 32 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.
Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.
Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.
Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)
We split that step out and call it the Buffer Zone. It is where you build the balance that carries into your Sim Funded account, and it is deliberately gentler than the evaluation you just passed: a smaller target and no daily loss limit.
Account size | Profit target | Drawdown | Consistency | Largest single day
And if you fail it, you reset the Buffer Zone on its own. Your evaluation still stands — you never go back to the beginning. Resets are $250 each for the first three, then $300 for resets four to six, $350 for seven to nine, and so on. If your Buffer Zone had already passed into Sim Funded, a reset is $500. These are the Propel Buffer Zone reset prices.
Phase 3 — Sim Funded
Your account is still simulated, but the profits are real and you can withdraw them. There is no profit target here — the job is to keep trading well.
Payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, on any balance above your starting balance. Requests made before 11am ET are processed the same trading day. While Sim Funded, stop trading for the day once you are $5,000 up and for the week once you are $10,000 up — passing $10,000 in total profit triggers a review for Live Brokerage, where the caps come off entirely.
Nothing is charged during this phase. Your subscription ended at the evaluation.
How the consistency rule works
The consistency rule keeps your biggest day in proportion to the rest of your trading. We compare your largest single profitable day against the sum of your profitable days. Losing days are left out of the calculation entirely — many firms divide by your net profit instead, which shrinks the number you are measured against and makes the rule harder to satisfy.
Here is a week counted both ways. Say you made $1,000 on Monday, $900 on Tuesday, lost $600 on Wednesday, then made $900 on Thursday and $600 on Friday:
- At BluSky we add up your profitable days: $1,000 + $900 + $900 + $600 = $3,400. Your biggest day of $1,000 is 29.4% of that — inside the 34% rule. ✅
- Counting net profit instead subtracts the losing day: $3,400 − $600 = $2,800. The same $1,000 day is now 35.7% — outside the same rule. ❌
The 300K works to a 21% rule instead, so the same week would need your profit spread across more days to comply.
Being out of consistency does not fail your account. It is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and you fix it by trading on — every additional profitable day grows the total you are measured against and brings your percentage down.
Resetting a Propel evaluation
Most traders do not pass first time. A reset clears the days traded, the balance and the rules by creating a fresh evaluation account, so you can try again without buying a new plan.

Both options share the same risk logic. Option 1 uses the trailing drawdown. Option 2 uses the end-of-day drawdown together with a daily loss limit and has no scaling plan.
On both options the drawdown follows the balance upward and then stops for good once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. From that point it is a fixed floor and no longer moves.
On Option 2 the daily loss limit stays active for the whole life of the account and is never lifted. The $25,000 Option 2 account is the exception: it has no daily loss limit.

What is the Limit for Funded Accounts Per Household?
The maximum number of active funded accounts allowed per household, the Live Funded restriction, and the copy trading rules between household members.
Section: What is the Limit for Funded Accounts Per Household?
− Updated in the last 15 minutes
Table of contents
The limits below represent the maximum number of active funded accounts allowed per household. These limits apply to the entire household combined, that is, across every person living at the same address, not per individual trader.
Example: a household may hold a maximum of 10 Ignite Funded accounts in total. This cap is shared by everyone in the home. If one member holds 6 Ignite Funded accounts, the remaining members can hold no more than 4 between them.
Maximum funded accounts per household
Account category | Maximum active accounts | Size rule
Elite Daily Funded | 5 | All 5 must be the exact same account size
Elite ACCESS Funded + Elite ACCESS Intraday Funded (combined) | 10 in total (Elite ACCESS and Elite ACCESS Intraday count together toward one shared limit) | All 10 must be the exact same account size
Instant Sim Funded | 3 (100K or 150K sizes) or 5 (25K or 50K sizes) | All accounts must be the exact same size, sizes cannot be mixed (all 25K, or all 50K, or all 100K)
Elite Sim Funded | 3 (100K or 150K sizes) or 5 (25K or 50K sizes) | All accounts must be the exact same size, sizes cannot be mixed (all 25K, or all 50K, or all 100K)
Ignite Funded | 10 | All 10 must be the exact same account size
X-Ultra Funded | 3 | All 3 must be the exact same account size
Section: Maximum funded accounts per household
− Note: some of the limits above reflect our current promotional account limits. During certain promotional periods we allow traders to hold more accounts than our standard limits, and this applies only to accounts purchased during that promotion. Please check our homepage for the account limits currently in effect, or ask our support team for the current promotional limits.
Total capacity: because each category has its own independent limit, a single household can hold a grand total of up to 38 active funded accounts at one time (when utilizing the 25K/50K limits for the Instant Sim and Elite Sim categories), or up to 34 when utilizing the 100K/150K limits for those categories.
The Live Funded account restriction
There is one critical exception to the limits above regarding Live Funded accounts: if any trader within a household has an active Top One Futures Live Funded account, no additional Sim Funded accounts are allowed for that household whatsoever. This restriction is strictly enforced. If one person in your home transitions to a Live Funded account, no one else in the household may activate or trade on a Sim Funded account.
Copy trading restrictions
While multiple individuals in a household can have their own accounts (subject to the limits above), copy trading between different users is strictly prohibited. This rule applies regardless of whether the users reside in the same household or not. Each trader must execute their own independent trading strategy. Copying trades from another person's account, even a family member or roommate, violates our Terms of Service and will result in the immediate closure of all associated accounts.
Why do we have these rules?
Household limits and copy trading restrictions are standard industry practices designed to protect the integrity of the trading ecosystem. They ensure a level playing field, maintain transparency, and prevent excessive multi-account manipulation or coordinated rolling/churning strategies from a single location.
Please note: it is the responsibility of the traders within the household to monitor their combined active account count and trading activity to ensure compliance with these limits.

Ignite Funded | 10 | All 10 must be the exact same account size
X-Ultra Funded | 3 | All 3 must be the exact same account size
Section: Maximum funded accounts per household
+ Note: the limits above are our standard account limits. During certain promotional periods, we may allow traders to hold more accounts than these standard limits. This applies only to accounts purchased during that promotion.

Section: Prohibited Trading Practices

Table of contents
At Top One Futures, our mission is to build a sustainable, secure, and trustworthy trading environment for serious traders who value opportunity and integrity. We are deeply committed to maintaining the long-term viability of our firm and the safety of our trading ecosystem. This article lists the trading practices that are strictly forbidden on all Top One Futures accounts, regardless of account type or stage.
How we enforce these rules
To uphold these standards, we leverage advanced fraud detection technologies and robust compliance monitoring systems. Any trader found to be violating our rules or exploiting platform vulnerabilities will have their account breached and all associated profits forfeited. Any violations of these rules during the Elite Evaluation Phase might result in either a retake Evaluation being issued or a full breach of the account, depending on the severity of the violation.
1. Exploiting system, pricing, or latency errors
Any attempt to take advantage of errors, delays, mispricings, or lags in the broker's feed, the charting platform, or any associated systems will result in immediate account breach. This includes latency arbitrage and price manipulation.
2. Use of insider or non-public information
Trading based on information not available to the general public, including insider news or confidential financial disclosures, is prohibited.
3. Front-running
Placing trades with the intent to benefit from anticipated price movement based on trades executed elsewhere (for example in another account or at another firm) is not allowed.
4. Hedging between accounts
You may not hedge one account against another, whether within Top One Futures or across other prop firms or brokers. All trades must reflect independent trading strategies without cross-account hedging.
11. Arbitrage with other firms
Attempting to gain an advantage by arbitraging trades across Top One Futures and another firm or platform is prohibited.
12. Automated trading / Expert Advisors (EAs)
Use of any automated trading system, script, bot, Expert Advisor (EA), or high-frequency execution tool is strictly forbidden. All trades must be entered manually or semi-manually by the trader.
13. Copy trading or group trading
Each trader must operate independently. The following are not allowed:
- Executing the same trades as another person or account
- Coordinated trading with relatives or friends
- Following signal services, Telegram groups, Discord calls, or any shared trade alert system
Note on copy trading between firms: we understand that some traders now use third-party platforms to mirror their trades across multiple firms. While Top One Futures does not prohibit copy trading between your own accounts at different firms, all trade decisions must originate from activity on our platform. As long as your trades begin from your Top One Futures account and reflect your own strategy and discretion, this is acceptable. However, any behavior resembling signal following, group trading, or mirroring someone else's trades remains strictly prohibited. Top One Futures expects unique strategies per trader, not correlated or synchronized actions.
14. Intentional account breaching (sim farming)
Traders may not attempt to deliberately fail or breach funded accounts to avoid transitioning to live trading, remain on simulated accounts, or game system protections.
Section: 15. Maximum funded accounts per household
− 15. Maximum 3 funded accounts per household
− We allow a maximum of three (3) Instant Sim or Elite Sim funded accounts per household, regardless of whether they belong to different individuals. For S2F PRO accounts this limit lies between 5 and 9 depending on the promotion active during purchase.
Account type | Max funded accounts per household
− Instant Sim Funded / Elite Sim Funded | 3 at the same time
S2F Sim PRO | 5 to 9 at the same time, depending on the promotion active during purchase
− This limit applies to all account sizes. Important: you are allowed to purchase more accounts, but you must contact our support who will pause your excessive accounts. If you trade or activate a 4th account, the oldest of your existing active accounts will be automatically breached and no refunds will be issued for that account. This rule is non-negotiable and enforced automatically by our system to maintain fairness and manage risk.
Our philosophy: fairness for serious traders
Top One Futures is dedicated to supporting disciplined, honest, and skilled traders. We strive to offer:

What is the Limit for Funded Accounts Per Household?
The maximum number of active funded accounts allowed per household, the Live Funded restriction, and the copy trading rules between household members.
Section: What is the Limit for Funded Accounts Per Household?
− Updated over a week ago
Table of contents
The limits below represent the maximum number of active funded accounts allowed per household. These limits apply to the entire household combined, that is, across every person living at the same address, not per individual trader.
Example: a household may hold a maximum of 10 Ignite Funded accounts in total. This cap is shared by everyone in the home. If one member holds 6 Ignite Funded accounts, the remaining members can hold no more than 4 between them.
Maximum funded accounts per household
Account category | Maximum active accounts | Size rule
Elite Daily Funded | 5 | All 5 must be the exact same account size
Section: Maximum funded accounts per household
− Elite ACCESS Funded | 10 | All 10 must be the exact same account size
Instant Sim Funded | 3 (100K or 150K sizes) or 5 (25K or 50K sizes) | All accounts must be the exact same size, sizes cannot be mixed (all 25K, or all 50K, or all 100K)
Elite Sim Funded | 3 (100K or 150K sizes) or 5 (25K or 50K sizes) | All accounts must be the exact same size, sizes cannot be mixed (all 25K, or all 50K, or all 100K)
Ignite Funded | 10 | All 10 must be the exact same account size
Note: some of the limits above reflect our current promotional account limits. During certain promotional periods we allow traders to hold more accounts than our standard limits, and this applies only to accounts purchased during that promotion. Please check our homepage for the account limits currently in effect, or ask our support team for the current promotional limits.
− Total capacity: because each category has its own independent limit, a single household can hold a grand total of up to 35 active funded accounts at one time (when utilizing the 25K/50K limits for the Instant Sim and Elite Sim categories), or up to 31 when utilizing the 100K/150K limits for those categories.

− Updated over a week ago
Table of contents
Finding the right path to funding depends on your trading style, risk tolerance, and how quickly you want to access a funded environment. Below is a detailed breakdown of the four account models offered by Top One Futures: Elite, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim Pro, and Ignite.
1-Step Elite Evaluation
The 1-Step Elite Evaluation is designed as a traditional evaluation pathway for disciplined traders. Under this model, you must successfully reach a specific profit target while adhering to risk management rules to prove your trading skills. Once the profit target is reached and the Elite Evaluation is passed, an activation fee is required to transition from the Evaluation phase to a funded environment where you then can work towards a payout.
This path is ideal for traders who are confident in their ability to pass evaluations and want to benefit from a 25% consistency rule, which is more generous than the rules found in the Instant or Ignite account models.
Account type | Elite Evaluation | Elite Sim Funded
Minimum trading days | None | 10 days (7 days profitable)*** | None
Payout caps | High | High | Lower
Profit split | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10
Maximum accounts**** | 3 | 6 | 6
Reset option | No | No | No
* Profit target per payout cycle: 1st payout / 2nd payout / 3rd payout. ** Depends on account size. *** A profitable day is defined as 0.1% of your starting balance. **** The maximum account numbers are based on our standard account limits. During certain promotional periods, we may allow traders to purchase and trade more than the standard limit. This exception only applies to accounts purchased during that specific promotion. Check out our homepage for the current promotional account limits, or ask our support team for the limits currently in effect.
Key takeaways for choosing your account
Account | Why choose it
Elite | Ideal if you want the highest consistency requirement (25%) and a lower entry cost through an evaluation path. It is the most cost-effective way to secure a funded account where you will have EOD trailing drawdown and high payout caps
Instant | Perfect for skipping the evaluation phase and working toward payouts immediately along with EOD trailing drawdown and high payout caps. It is our most popular account type and the perfect choice for traders who want an Instant Funded account with the necessary breathing room to manage positions without pressure
Section: Key takeaways for choosing your account
− Ignite | While payout caps are lower per account, they are one of the cheapest Instant Funding accounts you can find in the industry and the ability to manage up to 6 accounts simultaneously makes it the top choice for high-volume scaling. It is also ideal for traders that do not want to worry about saving for a live account buffer: the caps naturally keep enough profit in your account so that you are fully prepared for your transition to a Live Account
S2F Sim Pro | The best fit for professional traders comfortable with intraday drawdown and a structured 10-day payout requirement. It has a much lower cost than Instant Sim Funded accounts, but still includes the high payout caps. This account is designed for disciplined traders seeking low-cost instant funding, specifically those who have a goal of steady daily growth and strict risk management in place
Need more specifics?
We understand that choosing the right funding path is a big decision. While this overview covers the main differences between our models, you may have more questions or want to know more about a specific account type. You can find more detailed information about each of our individual account types in our FAQ. There, we break down the exact parameters for every account size to ensure you have everything you need to trade with confidence.

It is our most popular account type and the perfect choice for traders who want an Instant Funded account with the necessary breathing room to manage positions without pressure
Section: Key takeaways for choosing your account
+ Ignite | While payout caps are lower per account, they are one of the cheapest Instant Funding accounts you can find in the industry and the ability to manage up to 10 accounts simultaneously makes it the top choice for high-volume scaling.
