Rule Radar

Futures Prop Firm Rule Changes. Tracked Daily.

Your morning update on futures prop firm rule changes, refreshed overnight.

We track the published rules and policies of 32 futures prop firms and keep every version, so when a firm edits a rule we have the before and after in writing. Most of what changes is really nothing: a fixed typo, a clarified sentence, a word added here and there. But real changes stand out fast, and you can literally watch rules and policies tighten line by line. Payout terms creep, consistency thresholds drop, and prices quietly climb. It works the other way too: sometimes payouts improve and rules loosen, and when that happens it’s usually one of our Premier firms.

Most of the tightening shows up on the Unlisted side, firms we track but haven’t listed on PickAPropFirm.com. When a firm with a rough reputation starts gaining traction on rock-bottom prices, promoted by affiliates who would scam their own grandma for a commission, the discount usually costs you somewhere else, and that somewhere shows up here. If a plan looks too good to be true, it almost always is.

Starred changes are the ones we think deserve your attention; the full feed below is everything we caught, right down to the typo fixes.

Treat this page like your morning paper. It updates overnight, so grab your coffee and see what changed. – Jmu (@jmutrades)

− - An individual user may have up to 5 FundedNext Accounts at any time
− - A household is also restricted to 5 FundedNext Accounts at any time
- You can mix & match account sizes ($25K, $50K, $100K. $150K) within these limits.
Note: A household is defined as family members or multiple users sharing the same address or IP.
FundedNext Futures allows traders to hold multiple accounts, but maximum allocation rules apply to ensure fair trading opportunities and risk management. These limits vary between Challenge Accounts and FundedNext Accounts, and traders can combine different account sizes as long as they remain within the allowed cap.

− TLDR: At FundedNext Futures, traders can reset their Challenge Account at any time, even without breaching, to restart with a fresh Challenge at a lower cost than buying a new one. A reset restores the initial balance, clears trading metrics, and refreshes the loss limits. Reset fees depend on the Challenge model and size. Resets remain unlimited up to the maximum allocation and do not count toward the monthly 15-new-Challenge limit. If a challenge is breached, traders can reset at the reduced fee: after a maximum loss limit breach, trading can be resumed immediately once the reset is processed, while after a daily loss limit breach, trading resumes at the next trading session open at 5 PM CT.
At FundedNext Futures, traders can reset their Challenges at any time. This allows traders to start fresh, even if they haven’t breached their Challenge, and provides a cost-effective way to refine strategies. Reset fees vary by Challenge type and size.

TL;DR: The maximum loss limit (MLL) at FundedNext Futures is the total loss allowed before an account is permanently breached. It follows a trailing end-of-day (EOD) system, updating once per day based on the highest balance reached, moving up with profits but never decreasing with losses. Once the MLL reaches the initial account balance, it locks and no longer increases (For Bolt, Flex and Rapid Pro and Daily It locks at initial balance + $100). If equity falls below the MLL at any time, the account is breached.
The maximum loss limit is the total amount a trader can lose in their Futures Challenge or FundedNext Account before their account is restricted from further trading. The maximum loss limit (MLL) follows a trailing end-of-day (EOD) system. This means it updates once per day, based on the highest balance your account reached that day. It doesn't change in real-time but adjusts at the end of each trading day.
