03Our take

Lucid has led the PickAPropFirm Power Rankings since launching its Tradovate and NinjaTrader partnership in October 2025. Since day one, the firm has introduced several trader-friendly industry firsts and built a complete lineup of plans that covers nearly every need in the futures prop space. The payouts are fast, the rules are clean, and the team is highly active in the community, consistently listening to traders and acting on their feedback. That combination has helped Lucid grow into the largest futures prop firm in the space. If you are only going to try one firm on this list, make it Lucid. -Jmu

05Plans & pricing

PickAPropFirm Adjusted ROI measures what a plan returns for what it costs: the maximum first payout times the profit split, capped per account size, divided by the plan cost, first payout only. Lucid’s best across all sizes is 32.3x. Compare Adjusted ROI only between plans of the same account size and type. See the full calculation.

PickAPropFirm All-In Cost is the discounted plan price plus any activation fee, in one number. Lucid charges no activation fee, so the discounted price and the All-In Cost are the same number.

10Frequently asked questions

What is the best Lucid Trading discount code?
Code JMU gives the maximum discount possible at Lucid. You will not find a larger discount anywhere. It works on Daily, Flex, Pro and Direct, and pricing across PickAPropFirm already reflects it.
What is LucidDaily?
Lucid’s newest eval, built around payout speed: once funded you can request a payout every single day. Plans start at $55 for a 25k, with a 50% eval consistency rule, 2 minimum days, and both EOD and intraday drawdown variants, each with or without a daily loss limit.
How fast does Lucid actually pay out?
Funded payouts on Daily, Flex, Pro, and Direct are approved and paid in under 15 minutes, often within just a minute or two of the request. Methods are Plaid ACH instant bank transfer for US traders, WorkMarket by ADP for international, and crypto.
What does “EOD trailing drawdown” mean?
Your max loss limit trails your end-of-day balance instead of ticking up with every intraday high. On Lucid it locks at break-even once you’re up your drawdown amount, which is the most trader-friendly version of a trailing drawdown.
What makes Flex different from Pro?
Flex is cheaper, has no consistency rule, and asks for 5 profitable days per payout with per-payout caps (after 5 payouts you move live). Pro can pay out any day with a $500 minimum and a 40% consistency check per cycle. High-frequency withdrawers want Pro; budget entries want Flex.
Does Lucid allow news trading, bots, or copy trading?
Yes to most of it. News trading is allowed on Flex, Pro and Direct, but trading red-folder news on LucidDaily is a hard breach. DCA and scaling into positions are fine, and bots and trade copiers are permitted as long as they follow the account rules, with any copier malfunction on you. Copy trading works natively through Tradovate Group Trading across up to 5 accounts, and third-party copiers are allowed too. The one thing they police is microscalping: if more than 50% of your profits come from trades held 5 seconds or less, the account gets reviewed. Martingaling is strongly discouraged.
How many accounts can I run?
Up to 10 evaluation accounts and 5 funded accounts per household, and up to 5 LucidLive accounts, one per eligible funded account (Live is invite-only). LucidMaxx (invite-only) supports up to 5 accounts under its own criteria.
Is Lucid available in my country?
Lucid restricts 76 countries. The full ISO list is in the Country Availability section above. If your country isn’t listed, you can sign up.
What is LucidMaxx?
An invite-only tier added in February 2026 with daily payout requests and up to 5 accounts. Lucid hasn’t published the selection criteria. It appears to be offered to consistently profitable funded traders.
Does Lucid Direct have a minimum number of trading days?
Lucid does not publish a minimum trading day requirement on LucidDirect. It does not need to. The 20% consistency rule caps any single day at that share of total profit, so reaching the profit goal takes at least 5 profitable days no matter how large you size. That is why our table shows 5 minimum days on LucidDirect: the number is derived from the consistency rule, not stated by the firm.
Which Lucid plan returns the most for what you pay?
At the 25K size, LucidDaily Intraday DLL. It costs $55 and carries a PickAPropFirm Adjusted ROI of 20.5x, meaning a capped first payout returns that many times the plan cost. LucidDirect D2F sits at 3.8x for $238. Compare only within one account size, because the payout caps scale with the account.
What do the daily loss limit and drawdown options cost on LucidDaily?
They stack, and at the 25K size each one costs the same. LucidDaily Intraday DLL is $55. Removing the daily loss limit (Intraday NO DLL) is $75, and switching to end of day drawdown (EOD DLL) is also $68. Taking both, LucidDaily EOD NO DLL, is $88. PickAPropFirm Adjusted ROI falls 20.5x, then 16.5x, then 12.8x across those steps. Every rule you relax costs you twice: once in price, once in return.
What is the fastest a Lucid account can actually pay you?
LucidDaily requires 2 minimum trading days and allows a payout request 1 day later, and Lucid pays to a bank account in under 15 minutes. The plan that passes fastest is not the plan that pays fastest: LucidPro clears in 1 minimum day, but its first payout window is 3 days out.
Why is the LucidDaily payout cap so much higher than the other plans?
Because LucidDaily is the only plan that keeps an intraday drawdown in the funded stage, a tighter rule than the EOD trailing drawdown on the other funded plans, and the higher ceiling is the reward for trading it. At 25K the LucidDaily plans cap a single payout at $6,000 while LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect cap at $1,000. Same account size, same 90% split, six times the ceiling. A little more difficult, but higher rewards: if the goal is pulling money out rather than passing cheaply, that ceiling matters more than the entry price.
Is the price on Lucid’s site the price you actually pay?
Yes. Lucid charges no activation or funding fee, so the discounted price and the PickAPropFirm All-In Cost are the same number. Across the firms we track, the All-In Cost is usually the plan price plus an activation fee charged once you reach a funded account, and that fee is where the real cost of a cheap looking evaluation tends to hide.
How much do you have to make before Lucid lets you withdraw?
It depends which rule binds first. On LucidDaily at 25K the profit target is $1,250 against $1,000 of drawdown room, so the goal is only slightly larger than the room you have to lose. LucidPro adds a 40% funded consistency rule, which raises the effective bar because no single day may exceed that share of the total.
What is the catch with a $55 Lucid account?
Nothing. It is LucidDaily Intraday DLL at the 25K size, and it is the cheapest because it carries both a daily loss limit and intraday drawdown, the tightest combination Lucid offers. LucidFlex is also $50 at 25K but requests payouts on a longer cycle. The right question is not which plan is cheapest but which rule set you can actually trade, which is why our table shows drawdown type next to price.
Does Lucid’s profit split change?
No. Every Lucid plan pays 90% from the first payout, at every account size. There is no scaling ladder to climb and no threshold to cross. Firms advertising a 100% split generally apply it to a first tranche of profit only, then drop to a rate at or below this one.

  Daily Loss Limit
The Daily Loss Limit (DLL) is the maximum amount a trader can lose in a single day before trading is restricted until the next session. All DLLs at Lucid Trading are considered soft breaches, meaning you do not lose your account for hitting DLL as long as the Max Loss Limit (MLL) has not been reached.
+ Please note: The DLL remains fixed throughout the trading session and does not trail upward with the Max Loss Limit (MLL). If the MLL trails above the DLL during the session, the MLL becomes the more restrictive threshold. Reaching the MLL at that point will result in a hard breach.
  LucidDaily Evaluation Account DLL
LucidDaily Evaluation accounts use a Fixed DLL that does not change over time.
