Table of contents
The Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) is the most your account can drop from its highest end-of-day balance. It is calculated at the end of each trading day (EOD).
Limits per account
Account size | Evaluation Drawdown | Funded Drawdown
$50,000 | $4,000 | $3,000
$100,000 | $8,000 | $4,500
$150,000 | $12,000 | $6,000
How the trailing works
- The MLL follows your highest end-of-day balance upwards. It never moves down.
- Once it reaches your starting balance + $100, it locks and stays there.
Hard breach: if your balance drops below the MLL, the account fails.
Example: $50,000 funded account ($3,000 MLL)
Day | Previous End-of-day balance | Highest EOD balance achieved | Account fails below
Day 1 | $50,000 | $50,000 | $47,000
Day 2 | $51,200 | $51,200 | $48,200
Day 3 | $50,600 | $51,200 | $48,200 (does not move down)
Day 4 | $53,300 | $53,300 | $50,100 (locked)
Day 5 | $55,000 | $55,000 | $50,100 (stays locked)
After Day 3 closes at $53,300, the MLL for Day 4 reaches $50,100 (starting balance + $100). From that moment it is locked and never moves up again.
