Evaluation Drawdown: EOD Drawdown
Your evaluation account uses a $2,000 end-of-day trailing drawdown. The drawdown threshold follows your highest end-of-day balance, staying $2,000 below it. It only moves upward and never decreases after a losing day.
Intraday profit peaks do not raise the threshold. However, your account equity must stay above the existing threshold throughout the trading day, including while trades are open.
Funded Drawdown: Intraday Drawdown
Your funded account uses a $2,000 intraday trailing drawdown. Unlike the evaluation, this threshold follows your highest account equity in real time, including unrealized profits from open trades.
As your equity reaches new highs, the threshold rises with it. If your profits decrease or you take a loss, the threshold does not move back down. Once you reach the profit level required to stop trailing, the threshold locks and remains fixed.
The key difference: Evaluation drawdown follows your highest end-of-day balance. Funded drawdown follows your highest equity during the session, including open profits.
