Overview
Consistency helps encourage disciplined risk management by ensuring no single trading day accounts for a disproportionate amount of your profits. This promotes steady, repeatable trading habits throughout the evaluation.
Calculation
All Velocity Funded Accounts are subject to a 40% Consistency Rule. This means your largest single trading day's profit cannot exceed 40% of your total account profit when requesting a payout. After each approved payout, your consistency calculation resets and begins again from your new account balance.
Largest Trading Day Profit ÷ Total Profit Earned = Consistency %
Example:
- Largest Single Day Profit: $800
- Total Account Profit: $2,500
$800 ÷ $2,500 = 0.32 (32%)
