TL;DR: You cannot pause your Challenge or FundedNext Accounts. Once a Challenge is purchased, FundedNext Futures immediately incurs ongoing platform fees to Tradovate or NinjaTrader, regardless of whether you trade. Since traders pay only a one-time fee and no monthly subscription, pausing an account is not possible.
After a trader purchases a challenge, FundedNext Futures immediately incurs recurring platform fees to Tradovate or NinjaTrader to keep the account active, regardless of trading activity. Since traders are not charged any monthly subscription fees and only pay a one-time fee to start the challenge, pausing an account isn’t possible, as platform costs continue even during periods of inactivity.
Important:
Leaving an account inactive does not count as a “pause.” Depending on the account type, 30 consecutive calendar days of no trading activity can result in the account being breached due to inactivity. Want to learn more about the inactivity rule? Click here to read about it.
