Yes! Many traders prefer using a Mac, and we're pleased to announce that Onyx is compatible with Mac.
While we don’t recommend using a Mac for trading with Rithmic, there are some options available, as Rithmic is not fully compatible with iOS/MacOS devices yet.
If you want to make Rithmic work on a Mac, here are a few solutions (at your own risk):
- Option 1: Run Windows 11 on your Mac with an M1 chip to be able to run rTrader Pro.
Step By Step Instructions
- Option 2: Install Parallels to run Windows on your Mac. You can find YouTube tutorials to guide you through this setup.
- Option 3: Try Oracle’s open-source software, VirtualBox, to run Windows 10 on your Mac. Check YouTube for setup instructions.
- Option 4: Use the Rithmic Trader web application to log in directly.
Please note: These methods are not officially supported by our platform and should be used at your own risk.
