Your max contracts is the largest total open position you can hold at once, across all instruments combined.
How it's counted
- 10 micro contracts count as 1 mini contract.
- Positions in different instruments add up. On a 10-contract account, 5 NQ + 50 MNQ uses your full limit.
- Working orders don't count until they fill.
- An order that would take you over the limit is rejected.

Pro Accounts keep the same limits as their evaluation.
Any attempt to get around these limits, for example by splitting positions across platforms or tools, leads to account closure.
