EOD accounts use an end-of-day trailing drawdown: the level only moves after each trading day closes, based on your closing balance. Your balance must stay above it at all times, including intraday.
How it works
- It starts at your starting balance minus the max drawdown.
- After a day closes at a new high, it moves up to that balance minus the max drawdown. It never moves down.
- It stops at your starting balance, in the evaluation and in the Pro Account.
| Size | Max drawdown | Starts at | Stops at |
|---|
| 25K | $1,000 | $24,000 | $25,000 |
| 50K | $2,000 | $48,000 | $50,000 |
| 150K | $4,000 | $146,000 | $150,000 |
| 300K | $6,500 | $293,500 | $300,000 |
Example (50K): the level starts at $48,000. Close the day at $51,000 and it moves to $49,000.
