Important: Daily Loss Limits Are Dynamic
Daily Loss Limits (DLLs) automatically adjust based on your current end-of-day account balance, not your starting balance.
This means your DLL can change from day to day as your balance moves between different tiers in the scaling table above.
How Dynamic DLLs Work
The scaling system evaluates your balance at the end of each trading day and automatically applies the DLL for that balance tier.
Example:
- You start with an account balance of $11,000
- Your initial DLL is $3,000 (based on the $10,000 tier)
- On Day 1, you lose $3,000
- Your end-of-day balance is now $8,000
- On Day 2, your DLL automatically changes to $2,000 (based on the Under $10,000 tier)
Why This Matters
Traders often contact support asking "Why did my DLL change?" The answer is always the same: your balance moved to a different tier.
The DLL scales up as your account grows and scales down if your balance decreases. This ensures risk parameters always match your current account equity.
Key Scaling Features:
- Dynamic DLL Adjustments: Daily loss limits automatically adjust based on your current balance tier (see detailed explanation above)
- Risk Manager Assessment: Contract limits at starting levels determined by individual Risk Manager assessment
- Performance-Based Limits: Contract limits at $60,000+ determined by individual performance reviews
- Swing Trading Access: Available starting at $100,000 balance
- Personalized Scaling: All contract limits customized based on performance reviews with Risk Managers
