Entry
The October Competition has its own page under Competitions, with the schedule, prizes, and leaderboard. Join from that page while registration is open.
+ The free Trade Case task list for following MyFundedPerps on X also shows an
+ optional Enter Competition step while registration is open. Entry is free
+ and does not affect your Trade Case.
When you claim the free Trade Case for following MyFundedPerps on X, you are entered automatically if registration is open and you meet the competition's entry requirements. The claim confirmation says You're in the October Competition and links to the competition page. If automatic entry is not possible, the confirmation invites you to join manually instead.
Choose your path
Before your first trade, choose a path on the competition page. The path sets your starting balance and how your leverage and exposure caps are scaled.

Whale | \$150,000 | Half (0.5x the standard caps)
Scaled leverage rounds down to a whole number and never drops below 1x. For example, a market with a 5x leverage cap allows 20x on Blitz and 2x on Whale.

The highest account equity wins. Equity includes unrealized profit and loss. The return shown beside each trader is measured against their own path's starting balance, so a Whale account at \$151,500 shows +1%. Equal equity is ranked by win rate; a higher win rate wins the tie. Win rate is winning closed trades divided by all closed trades. You appear on the leaderboard after your first fill.

Free reset
You get one free reset. It unlocks after you complete three tasks on the competition page:
1. Post about the competition on X using the prepared post.
2. Follow MyFundedPerps on YouTube and Instagram. Open each profile, follow it, then choose Confirm Follows. Confirmation becomes available 15 seconds after you start the task.
3. Repost the competition post on X.
To reset, close every open position and cancel working orders first. A reset returns your account to \$100,000 on the Classic path, and you can choose a path again before your next trade. Resets are available only while the competition is live, and the reset cannot be undone.
Bonus reset
− Until October 6, 2026 at 06:00 UTC, every entrant gets one extra free reset with no tasks required. It is used before your task reset, so you can still unlock and use the task reset afterward, starting 24 hours after your bonus reset. The bonus reset is available even if you reset recently, and it still requires closed positions and canceled orders.
