How we track payouts
Methodology- What counts
- A payout is money a firm sent to a trader. Each one is recorded with its date and amount, plus the receiving wallet or account when the source shows it. Names and full wallet addresses are never published.
- Where it comes from
- Every firm is labeled with its sources. Direct feed: the firm sends its payouts to us as they happen. Direct: daily payout totals and the latest payouts, tracked at the firm level, so trader counts and full payout lists are not available. Rise: payouts through Rise, the payroll platform many firms use, read from the public blockchain record of the firm's Rise account. Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum: stablecoin payouts sent from the firm's own wallet, read from the public blockchain, with treasury and internal transfers left out. Firm feed: firms that publish their own payouts publicly, read on a schedule and stored row by row as posted.
- Days and windows
- Days run midnight to midnight US Eastern time. 24H is the last 24 hours to the minute. 7D, 30D and 1Y are the last 7, 30 and 365 full days, ending at midnight last night, so a half-finished day never drags them down. All time includes today.
- Traders
- Traders are counted by the wallet or account that received the payout; one person can hold more than one. Where a firm lists only a first name and a location, the count is an estimate, marked with ~ and shown for short windows only. New traders paid counts wallets a firm paid for the first time.
- What is not included
- Payouts by bank transfer, card or any other method we cannot see. Firms with such methods are marked as not tracked. Every figure here is what we can verify, not a firm's total payout volume.
- Corrections
- Nothing is thrown away. Duplicates and transfers that turn out not to be payouts are voided, kept on record and left out of the totals. Figures update within minutes as new payouts arrive.
